The only advantage for the PC is better graphics and a higher framerate.

Keyboard/mouse support, full controller support for both Xbox and Playstation, customizable graphics options, graphical mods, multi monitor support, etc...TheMastermindOfMaom wrote:The only advantage for the PC is better graphics and a higher framerate.

Re: Star Wars: Battlefront (2015)
I got this game this morning and I can't find any instant action or place where I can play splitscreen with 4 people. Am I not looking hard enough or something...?

There is no Instant Action (not in what you're expecting) and splitscreen works only up to two players.

Re: Star Wars: Battlefront (2015)
From someone who has it for both PC and Xbox One: If you're looking to play more casually, go for the console. You and I won't get to play together, but at least you and your buddies can when they come over. That, and when 99% of the population is using a controller (on console), it makes things a bit less... intense? I'm not saying console gamers are worse at shooters, but let's just say the reason cross-platform gaming isn't more of a thing is because Microsoft tested it a few years ago and PC gamers absolutely DESTROYED console gamers in shooters, because a mouse is so much better at aiming than a joystick.Grev wrote:Does anyone have any strong feelings on PC v PS4 for this one? Re: Star Wars: Battlefront (2015)
Besides those small training missions, what does this game offer in terms of offline single player? Like do I need to be online to enjoy all the game modes or would someone be out of luck if their internet sucks? Or is it like titanfall where its mostly multiplayer and relies on being online to play everything?

Re: Star Wars: Battlefront (2015)
The meat is online, but Offline has Battles and Survival modes. I do think they need more single player content. There's quite a few people who say Walker Assault should be ported to Single Player.TWINKEYRUNAWAY wrote:Besides those small training missions, what does this game offer in terms of offline single player? All the modes should be ported to SP IMO. They got the AI already available,so why not?

Re: Star Wars: Battlefront (2015)
I wouldn't say all the modes should be ported. I wouldn't mind having Supremacy, Blast or Fighter Squadron in SP, but I don't see the point in having Droid Run or Cargo there.TheMastermindOfMaom wrote:All the modes should be ported to SP IMO. They got the AI already available,so why not?
It'd also be interesting if there were other unique modes.

Blacklight: Retribution totes a scanning feature for all players. It discourages camping and making combat faster paced.

That means it is a key from a pre-order then,if I am not mistaken. Also everyone will. You (and everyone who pre-ordered will get it earlier though.

Re: Star Wars: Battlefront (2015)
Is there any rebel ground vehicles? Not the space ships, but are the imperials the only ones that have acess to at-at and at-sts?

No ground vehicles for the rebels. It's kinda disappointing.

Re: Star Wars: Battlefront (2015)
Is a Tauntaun considered a ground vehicle?
Oh and got the joystick working mostly, got the Logitech software and remapped things around. Only bug is I can't use the slider for acceleration since when I put it down
to play on keyboard again it is constant putting out either a lot of W's or S's so I am either going constantly forward or backwards depending on where I left the slider.
So mapped it to some buttons on the base instead and that works pretty good.
