Freaking logitech headphones!
All of a sudden my headphones stop working! Does anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have another set to test the input with (if analog)? If not, try your speakers where the headphones plug in (if analog) and tell me if it works or not.

we just got some at walmart same issue, turns out the mic wire was bad/crappy, if we jiggle it for a while it works but in short , these are all crappy mic/phones.

Sounds like a prob. I bought a set of earphones from waliworld that weren't to expensive (think less than $15) they're made by panasonic and they loop around the back of the ear and the earbuds fit snuggly and comfortably. Good sound quality too. Only complaint is they are uncomfortable if you fall asleep in them (listen to a lot of audio books.)

Soundcard. Try uninstalling/reinstalling the drivers and see if that helps. Less technical to explain. If you don't have them, just tell me what type of card you have and I'll locate them for ya.

In my opinion, such Errors could be rather easily worked out by modifying Settings being gathered inside Microsoft® Windows XP's "Volume Control" Utility, which can be reached and launched by browsing the "[Start menu]\All Programs\Accessories\Entertainment" Directory, and that should perhaps make things a little easier for you than re-installing the whole Driver Softwares shipping with your Sound Card, no matter whether the aimed Elements could be expanded back on your Hard-Drive...

That's what I don't like about them. I used to try to go to sleep by listening to some music but it was so darn uncomfortable to lay my head down.

hehe, what I recommend then is getting speakers I used to sleep with headphones, but then next morning my ear hurt like a [diet dr. pepper] and I had to buy new earphones every month since they broke. Now I use speakers, which work awsomely

Off-topic : swbf_lase, after having launched a few relevant Searches using Google© Meta Search Engine, I have succeeded in locating web-sites hosting and proposing Driver Softwares being primarily intended towards SigmaTel Incorporation® Sound Cards, such as either this Place or even that one, which are both supposed to refer to the exact contents you should download in order to make your Audio Device to be recognized and managed back by your Microsoft® Windows version, while reminding that the aimed Company has from now on ceased producing and releasing the Stuffs you are currently looking for...
