Goomba = Jawa
Shy Guy = Clone Trooper
Fly Guy (Shy Guy variation) = Jet Trooper
Snifit = Heavy Trooper
Bob-omb = Imperial Recon Droid
Dry Bones - Magnaguard or Droideka (it should regenerate its health)
Wiggler = Armored Tank Droid
Piranha Plant = Sarlacc
Blooper = Gungan
Thwimp = Ewok rocks
Mechakoopa = Super Battle Droid
Lakitu = Geonosian
Bowser Statue = Turret
If you don't know these enemies well....

I
will use some of these, you did quite alot of suggestions and I am adopting some of dann boeings, but for sure i will use some.
So far the ones I
will use are:
bob-omb = imperial recon droid (ill make 2 classes of recon droid)
Piranha plant = Sarlacc (good idea!)
Bowser Statue = Turret (this will do great in bowsers castle thnx for the suggestion!)

Yes they are climbable, I just had to make them that way so it would look more 8 bit!

The 8 bit style gives it the real authentic Super Mario flavour
its looking good, keep up the good work

But for Super Mario World, wouldn't be 16 bit style?

right it should be 16bit because you know, the Nintendo Entertainment System (A.K.A. NES) was capable of holding 16 bit graphics *sarcasm* no you are right, super mario world was in 16 bit, it is actually a map based on the NES hit SUper Mario Bro's
