visual munge not working

my visual munge has juist decided it doesnt want to work on any map anyone else had this? i click munge and nothing happens, the button goes in and it knows ive pressed it ut it doesnt do anything

yes, i don't know the problem, but i reinstalled my os and now it works fine

this is a question to everyone. i have re installed my tools and still no luck, then when i tried to use the sound munge and any other around that it says this file is being used by another program, i dont know what its about but is it possible this is a virus? because i would have thought re installing the tools would have worked but now i know this

norton antivirus found 13 pissible risks in the search i did, it resolved these and it still says "another program is currently using this file" this is really annoying me now i just want them back. i think it may be all microsoft batch files that wont open, anyone no a soluion to this. or i kno wits weird but is there a way to stop any other programs working apart from the ones i open manually. PLEASE PLEASE try and help me

Try booting Windows into safe mode.

Restart your computer and hold F8 during the bootup. It will take you to a black screen where you have a limited amount of time to select your OS startup. Choose "Safe Mode" and let the computer do its work. Best thing to do in Safe Mode is run a variety of anti-virus and spyware programs to check for any malware.
