Did you try and add ReadDataFile("sound\\cor.lvl;cor1cw") to your script to get the rep weapon sounds working.

Thanks Teancum, DooFi made it! The messed up texture is due to the fact that SWBF II wants certain dimension .tga files, and I tried making them 512x512. The textures should be fixed.

The map is GCW, so I am not loading a CW Era map's sound.

Just to let you all know, it is currently impossible to add sounds that are new and old (and custom .wavs too) unless you have a super-great understanding of sound (I understand it better than most). Psych0fred has to make the Premunged Sound Configuration files for SWBF II (SWBF ones will not work for new sounds).

The BFBuilder method for sound also does not work for everything.

So, my first few releases of my map will lack quite a bit of sound (Republic vs. Rebels makes it harder too).

I know it's gcw but just try it cause a while ago I was fiddling with a map that included all eras and everything like it had a clone trooper, a stormtrooper, wookie, tusken raider, rebels, droid, gungan etc. and I included the sound for both eras and it worked so give it a go.

Didn't you get the PM I sent you? Maybe this post was before I explained it to you? It is possible to add custom sound only you have to go through a mess of steps! :? (which I thought I showed you)

Also to add shipped sounds, don't you just add a Readdatafile:tatgcw:tat.lvl line or something like that. I even think if you just have the right line in the ODF it will appear in game?

You can share files through MSN Messanger? Cool! Do you have a link to get it?

You could just use yousendit.com

Glad you like the models. The Rep Commando is going to look really good once I get the jet pack on! :)

DON'T ADD A JETPACK!! They did not have jetpacks.

LOL!! That's not a jetpack. Only Scorch gets that. When they fly out in space, they use extra jetpacks. They do not use jetpacks in their own armor however. That thing on Scorch is some ammo or shield or something generator.

I think.

Not sure check you PMs! The unit will have some kind of pack but not a actually jet pack! :wink:
