A few (probably) Stupid Questions

Post by yodaminch »

I searched around and read several tutorials and feel like an idiot for asking both of these questions but I need to know:

1. How to rotate an object. I've probably clicked every button by now trying to rotate a naboo building and have failed miserably.

2. If one wanted to modify an existing world (kamino for example) how would I go about setting that up. I tried basically sticking everything in the the new world and editing or renaming a few files and either i get it loaded and just can't spawn anyone or the game crashes to desktop.

1. Press "C" and use the mouse.

2. Copy everything to your world folder, open it, then save it as a different .wld file.

see i pressed C and used the mouse, but i could only seem to slide the object horizontally.

Don't forget while holding down 'C', 'X', or 'Z' all three mouse buttons do different things. They move/stretch/rotate the object or region in different directions.

also tried dumping everything into the world folder, and saving it as a different wld and then crashed. :P
