blaster pistol
i've seen posts from a while back but now the tools have been used quite a bit does anyone know how to give the pistol the blaster animations, ive looked around but couldnnt find anything. if anyone finds anything related that could help please post here im willing to try out any ideas. thanks

You just change the AnimationBank name from "pistol" to "rifle" in the weapon's Common ODF file...

this is really simple. instead of giving the pistol the rifle animation etc. you give the rifle the pistol model, simply look at the rep_weap_inf_rifle.odf and replace "rep_weap_inf_rifle.msh" or simply the name next to geometry values to rep_weap_inf_pistol. it does really work.
Overheats? It shouldn't if you do what i did, which is to replace those lines in the rifle odf and then give the unit the rifle as a weapon, it should act exactly like a rifle but will simply look different.jkempster wrote:thanks OGEB1103 thats pefect! only problem is that it overheats, u no how to stop that?
EDIT: you shouldn't need to use common weaps, simply the weapon in the rep odf folder. change that one only
