Did you put the clean.bat and munge.bat in the correct spot before you munged?Epena wrote:I have the same issue.

And also, did you put "dc:" in the Readdatafile of the side you want to use the skins on in the mission scripts files? If you don't the game will just load the default skins that the game was shipped with, instead of reading the modified sides file in your mod folder (the dc: tells the game to load the sides stuff from you mod folder, ie, the one with new skins). The mission scripts are the .lua files in C:\BF2_ModTools\data_ModID\Common\scripts\ModID. The line(s) you're looking for are:
And you want to put the dc: in front of SIDE, so that line now looks like:
Code: Select all
ReadDataFile("SIDE\\SIDENAME.lvl",
Code: Select all
ReadDataFile("dc:SIDE\\SIDENAME.lvl",

Yes, all that is done.
I assume that munge and clean.bat go in rep\sides? (since I'm doing rep)
And of course it's a TGA!

if your overwriting rep you dont have to do anything with the clean.bat or munge.bat , since it has its own

Are you sure your map hasn't become corrupted with all the changes you have been doing?

Actually, you do for some reason which I do not understand.Lord-Bandu wrote:if your overwriting rep you dont have to do anything with the clean.bat or munge.bat , since it has its own
Stick 'em in C:\BF2_ModTools\data_NAME\Sides\rep
