Spawning on objects?

how do i get the spawn paths on objects such as the hanger floor on the cap ships?

move them there with the right mouse button.
holding shift will allow you to change the height

It only goes so high. 95% of the time you shouldn't have a problem, but with Bespin: Platforms, I had to raise the terrain to where I needed it, place the paths, then lower the terrain. You probably won't have to, but if you do, there you go.
