Thread for posting the vo lines from Battlefront II, finding specific soundbytes, etc.
I didn't see the voice over files anywhere on the web, so I decided to turn off all the SFX and record the voice over lines in Audacity myself.
I've managed to catch some of the more uncommon lines, including a lot of fourth wall jokes referencing Braveheart, Mystery Science Theater 3000, Space Troopers, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, The Day The Earth Stood Still, Futurama, and the larger Star Wars universe/sub-culture.
Progress will be infrequent and I might not get every file in the game due to a number of reasons including but not limited to:
Distance from unit speaking
Sporadic variations on the lines said
Reliance on specific units (exclusive to certain maps/campaigns/limited numbers of special units)
If you plan on using these files for modding purposes, videos/machinimas, having some fun with your ringtone, list me (and LucasArts/Pandemic) in the credits
Enjoy. There's some real gems in there.

Well, I should have read that thread more carefully. I thought those were all from bf1.AQT wrote:The stock sounds, including VOs, can be and have been extracted.
I guess that was all for nothing then.
