Cheapest deal for EA Battlefront
I want to try EA Battlefront but I do not believe I will actually play it often, so I do not want to spend too much money. Also how much is DLC and other stuff that we didn't have to pay for in 2005?
Can anyone mention some ways to get deals and discounts?

As of right now, the base game is $39.99. Origin is also running a 30% off promo that'll slice the cost even further down to $27.99, which is the cheapest I've ever seen it without getting into sketchy VPN stuff.

That's good to know, but don't I have to pay for something else to get multiplayer? If I can get the base game with multiplayer under $30 that will be cool.

No, multiplayer modes are included in the base game, the expansions just add extra maps/modes.

So, I don't need any DLC or "Season Pass" correct?GenRhysDallows wrote:No, multiplayer modes are included in the base game, the expansions just add extra maps/modes.
Also - does the Origin software have a function to pause downloads? I know the game is large and I would not be able to download all of it at once.

They aren't necessary to play any of the base maps or modes, no, only to access the new stuff. And yes, pausing downloads is possible.

Not sure if this is still active. But you could try the game for 4 hours once.

I see the option but I won't do that as it's going to take me several days to download it. If it were a 24 hour trial I would but 4 hours isn't worth the wait for me. I get paid in a few days so I will probably just get the promo thing for $28.CdtFox wrote:It was for the may the force be with you day...Anakin wrote:Not sure if this is still active. Yes the deal was from May4th. But it's still up.
@Anthony: It's not like the old BF, since it focus on the Multiplayer. But i like it
Let me know when you got it. Maybe we can play a match together

Re: Cheapest deal for EA Battlefront
Is it possible to buy an activation key separately? It took about a day but I downloaded the main game files (torrent) just to get that out of the way, I didn't expect the game to work (and it didn't) - so all I need now is to find out how to buy a key instead of the game, if it is possible.Anakin wrote:Yes the deal was from May4th. but you won't get the origin price. You better get it on origin and download it there. Maybe you can put the files in the origin's game folder, so origin don't need to redownload.

Re: Cheapest deal for EA Battlefront
When I setup the game files it told me it needed Origin, so I installed Origin and then started the game. Origin then wanted a product activation so am I sure I already have the Origin game, it just needs activation, and probably more updates. I also will not buy anything yet, until I get paid this week.Anakin wrote:https://www.amazon.de/Electronic-Arts-1 ... lefront+PC

So i don't see the problem. just buy the game on origin at the weekend and then the activation should be done.

I will, I was just wondering if there was other ways to buy keys (hoping I don't have to download again)Anakin wrote:So i don't see the problem. just buy the game on origin at the weekend and then the activation should be done.
I am pretty much done with this topic now.
