Hero Assault Cheating Fix

First, this mod is only for users who host a dedicated server for hero assault on Mos Eisley. The files in this mod are not to be installed on the client side. This mod fixes a rotten cheat that allows players to change characters at will without being at a command post.
This mod also fixes a glitch that allows players to leave dead Chewbaccas stuck on that boat object.

Now, there will be a little confusion if you don't pay attention to this part - The mod works like this...
The first person who joins your server/current session, can pick their teams, spawn in, and when that happens all of the 6 main command posts are killed. The cheat is now disabled. Now, in order to keep respawning possible, an unused, but hidden command posts that already exists in the level has been activated. Due to game restrictions, there can only be one command post, and only 1 team/side can spawn from it at once.
So I've done this - Every time a human player dies or respawns, this hidden command post switches the "Team" value that will allowing the other side to respawn again. I highly recommend you add the instant spawn modification to your server, to prevent getting hanged on the last second in the respawn count. A short guide at the end of this post explains how to add instant spawn modification.

At the time I am having trouble creating a new world file, but when I fix that I will update this topic with another mod that will fix wall glitches.

To install, just download these files and replace them over the files currently in your dedicated server.

How to add instant spawn mod to your server:
Open the server file BattlefrontII.exe in a hex editor app
Go to offset 6EA55 and change the bytes 70 41 with 00 3F

Side note: Anyone who knows anyone who runs a server, I recommend you show this to them. Most likely, one person who runs a server is going to know other server admins. The multiplayer community left is small and the cheating needs to be stomped and soon.

Back in the day BattleBelk did something like this for SWBF1. It basically involved replacing tat3.lvl with a modified one that had killzones everywhere that people would glitch (like the Yoda glitch). Since it ran on the server, the server would kill them if they tried to glitch, even though their copy of the game was stuck.

It was really funny to watch glitchers die over and over trying to do it.

I'd have to remake all my no-force hex editing changes for my server, but so be it!

All you really need from the download is the mission.lvl. The side files I inluded just disable "Flee Like A Hero"

If you have your own side files you can remain using them.
