Over on Reddit and 4chan, a person leaked the actual files to a version of SWBF3 that is playable. Unfortunately, it seems that it's only playable for those with an Xbox dev kit. I can't find the torrent link for the files to play since Reddit took them down, but I know they are out there. With all this in mind, I wonder if any group could pick it up where it left off and fiddle around with it? Just thought it was interesting news.

Failing 'picking up where it left off' (maybe somebody could create a PC version of the engine), somebody's surely going to try and rip the models from the game, players and perhaps environments.

If I understood correctly, and I really don't want to risk anything, but does the download contain everything the dev's had used to make this game or are there just the assets? Noob Question: How to get this working on PC?

Nope. People think a port would be "easy" since this was supposedly using PC assets, but the 360 uses PowerPC architecture, so we can't reverse engineeer the engine. The best possible scenario is some way to get the Xenia 360 emulator to run it so we can do 3D capture of the levels and recreate them in SWBF2.

I've grabbed it and am going to try and get it working on my JTAG Xbox 360. Looking forward to it.

Just downloaded the files. Dam...6.2 GB. That's a big fish.

I took a look at the 360 build. There seem to be many interesting things. Also many Assets folders. But I can't get any of the files open. This folder is just about 54Mb's in file size. I thing all the assets are in the PC build.

EDIT: I searched for all .tga files and had access to all particle effects (Mostly common effects like explosions, sparks, muzzle-flashes, flashes itself and many more and even a neat water texture).

That's ashame. He was the one that seemed to be the main leak. Maybe he should have held off until He'd ported it?

Hm. I am going to take a look at these. Maybe files like textures, models and even scripts can be taken from this Build. But Anakin was right. What about the copyright policies? It's a Battlefront Game, it's *almost* ten years old. It has been cancelled...Just why?

Internet Rule#1: Don't believe everything you read. How many people would believe me (Not only here, just everywhere) If I start telling: "Hey guys! Listen! ♫♪ I got the EA Assets ♪♫♪ I got the EA Assets ♪♫. Two things would happen: 1st. People start believing this, start following me, (maybe) start spamming me...Then they start writing: "It's a Fake! It's a Fake!". 2nd. People begin to search for me. And those work for the...International Agnecy for Copyrighted Material.
And in the end there was a guy (Me) who claimed something (Owning Assets from EA's battlefront) and people who wasted their time (Mostly those who skip following Rule#1).

Short said: Are there any proofs that CorraAshu had the PC Build? I am not sure. I don't know him. But I'd like to know more. Anyways I continue searching for avaiable assets (If they can be extracted).
