I'm not a big fan of the helmet - it looks a bit squashed. However the envelope on it looks good so I would say that you have done a good job Anakin.ARCTroopaNate wrote:Wow! Kudos Anakin, that stormtrooper looks WAY cool!

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
Man, I'm torn. As ggctuk mentioned, the helmet isn't very accurate, but the rest of the model is so awesome. When it's done can someone perhaps kitbash it with Hapslah's stormtrooper head from JKA?Anakin wrote:Thank you

I'd sell my soul to see this model and the Imp Sniper in Battlefront Evolved 3.0! It'd be so perfect!Anakin wrote:Thank you

I actually like the squished look of the helmet, I don't know why!

I know! It doesn't look very squished IMO. Maybe we can see a close up?MissingTexture wrote:I actually like the squished look of the helmet, I don't know why!

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
I get this far into the rigging process for this model. When I try to envelope and merge it together, my XSI crashes on me.... yet again
If somebody is willing to finish what I started, that would be very much appreciated! Just shoot me a PM if you can complete it and I will send it your way.

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
Woah, what happened to the arms?
You're actually in the process of skinning and not rigging.
Skinning is the process of binding the mesh to the skeleton aka setting the envelope in Softimage.
Rigging is when you set up nodes to manipulate the skeleton which makes animating easier.
EDIT
Also, you need to give your hands the kung fu grip since SWBF skeletons don't use finger bones.

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
Oh...
Well I took em off because I was following a tutorial to get this guy in-game and that was one of the steps
I reduced the poly count successfully but I can't get farther than that, which I mentioned some time ago in a forum post that my XSI keeps crashing during this process
That's why I am always here on this thread the most hahaha

After posting what I said, I had a feeling somebody would do this
Thanks, it's actually one of CorraAshu's models! He released them as an OBJ format and I'm trying to see if somebody can help make them usable here (since I cannot do it on my own) that way everyone has some Force Awakens player models to toy with for a while!

Re: All-Purpose Request Thread (Mk. IV)
So, I saw someone finally made these guys, but for JA. If anyone could, that'd be amazing. The Imperial Army Troopers are underrated.

Says in the license that anyone can modify and share so long as credits are provided. So if someone can convert these for SWBF/BF2 usage, that'd be amazing. Still having trouble with my ModTools. Otherwise I'd do it myself.
