New maps and mods are coming out quickly. If you release something (even a beta) please post it here. Be sure to give details in the topic such as Map/Mod name and version
This is the second beta of my skin changer mod, which basically adds elements of appearance customization into the game by adding commands to the fake console which change the looks of units. Currently only Republic commands are available (Plus 1 Imperial one) The changes in this version are mostly bug fixes, plus a alternate 'lite' beta version, beta-ception!
tl;dr: This mod lets you play as different clone legions.

Hidden/Spoiler:
(There are more legions than this, I'm just too lazy to take pictures of them all.)
(The above clone model isn't included, just the pauldron and texture, I was using my personal side mod when I took that.)
The lite version is SUPPOSED to be less buggy with the price of having less content by removing things that people were saying caused crashes. I'm not entirely sure how less buggy it is. This is exactly why this mod is still in beta.
Hey, I got a crash: changed from the recon legion (91st?) to galactic marines on Sun-Ra City, after basicly going through them all to see how they looked, thought you should know. x

That's something that can and probaly will happen with most maps that uses its own custom sides. The skin changer here only changes skins with models that have the same name as vanilla. Some mods may even use the same model, but becuase the models in different mods may call upon different names for them, it cuases a crash.

Lite version crashes immediately for me, while 0.5 (normal version) does not crash. It has just some minor bugs when the armor changes (Phase I, Galactic Marine, Phase 1.5)

1. Download the LATEST VERSION of the v1.3 patch. Seriously, this mod WILL NOT work with ANY other version of the patch. If that version is not installed, the commands will not show up. Download the patch here: Mediafire.com The file is an auto-installer. Tell it to install where you installed Battlefront 2.
2. Download your desired version of the mod.
3. Inside the zip, you'll see three text files, user_script_11.lvl and a folder. Extract the folder and user_script_11.lvl to <where you installed battlefront II>\GameData\Data\_LVL_PC.
4. Run the game, if you installed everything correctly, you should see two new buttons appear in the pause menu: "Free Camera" and "Fake Console". Press the fake console button, and you will see the buttons for the Skin Changer, as well as other fun commands to play around with. It should work for the stock sides.
Notes:
The default location for Battlefront 2 for windows is C:\Program Files\Lucasarts\Star Wars Battlefront II
The default location for Steam is C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Star Wars Battlefront II[/quote]
