Slender was pretty fun at first because it was the first of its type. It was pretty good at using tension to make the later pages more difficult out of panic. Heck, occasionally you would jump a bit when he teleported behind you when you were close to getting all of the pages. Now, it's pretty much been ruined for me because of people who are pretty bad at acting just screaming at every little thing to get views and money on Youtube because of a certain person who made bank by doing it. To make matters worse, to get the popularity Slender had, there's at least 50+ bad Gamemaker games that steal the concept and don't even understand what makes a game fun (hint: not wandering around in a forest for 20 minutes because Slender did it). So basically, I now hate a game I sort of enjoyed because of what it created.

Scariest game is Mario 64. Eel, piano, drowning animation. I could still show people the eel and they'd get uncomfortable.

If you're looking for story and narrative, then The Walking Dead by Telltale; if you're looking for gameplay, then Metro: Last Light; both games have excellent story, narrative, and gameplay, but each has its own strengths.

I haven't played many horror games, but I think Killing Floor is scary. They always seem to creep up on you.

Never go on Spanish club penguin, it's like the regular one but you can't understand anyone....it's like they are speaking another language

Whats everyone's thoughts on Outlast. Personally I thought it looked pretty good but, I felt its one of those games that isn't as scary as when you first start.

i think that sort of game has been done before (amnesia) but its still really scary in my opinion
