Well Hello,
I am ZapAttack1234's friend, and he has told me all about this forum, and I thought, "Why the hell not give it a try?" So yeah, here I am, and I can honestly tell you, this seems like an awesome board. Thanks guys! I hope to see more of you in the future!

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
For the last couple of months, my interest for SWBF2 has dramatically decreased. I've started playing many other games, which I enjoyed much more than Battlefront 2.
I also discovered other communities whose the activities interest me much. I'm less active here so.
Many people here will come and go for various reasons - in my case, I will not stay long on a forum in which the subject no longer interests me.
I feel a bit sad when saying that, because on GT I feel like home. I joined several forums before, but I have never been so well received than here.
I immediately felt this place was exactly what I was looking for: a place where I can find new content for better playing, help from experienced people if I have problem, and even better, a bunch of tutorials to help me getting into modding. But all my modding attempts failed, and then i decided to stop everything.
Trying to get my project up doesn't worth it, because I don't play SWBF2 anymore. I haven't even opened SWBF2 since, like, 5 months.
Some people here left and came back, because they probably had something to show or ask out. But me, I got nothing to show.
I don't have anything special: I'm not a modder, I don't understand anything to the coding, I hardly ever launched ZeroEditor, I don't have knowledges to teach.
These times I have nothing to do concerning the SWBF games, and I doubt I'll ever have anything to do.
I would like to thank all the people who helped me in any way, and even the people who didn't help me (maybe I got followed their example).
These two years were source of learning and fun for me - my English is a little better than before I joined the forum. Now I have to consider doing more serious studies - I maybe won't be able to access the computer as much as before.
I leave a final note for all the people who hesitate to join GT:
Don't hesitate. Sign up and you won't regret it.
*Activities ceased*

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
Sad to see you go... And I have no idea how we are going to get anything reuploaded since Helkaan was basically the center of the "Help me find a SWBFII Map/Mod" Topic.
Well, I hope you come back someday, and that I eventually get my map released...

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
Hi everyone I know that many of you don't remember me, but I have returned to modding, maybe not on the scale I once was, but It seemed like time to dust of the old bf2 and take her out for a spin. btw are there any huge modding breakthroughs recently (as in the past 2 years) I have no idea whats changed here.
Live long and prosper...oh wait sorry its been a while.

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
I downloaded mass effect unification a bit ago and am playing around in it having a good time you guys did a great job!
I am a little unclear as to what the XSI tool does exactly as I could never really model. I might have to try it out though.

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
Wow, it seems I've been gone for quite some time. I actually have a post on the very front of this thread, and didn't realize I would be leaving for several years.
After a long hiatus from playing Star Wars Battlefront II and exploring lots and lots of other games, this weekend I went home to pick up my copy and re-install. I re-found my love for the game and plan on contributing once again to this great community.
I got tired of the projects that I was working on several years ago and picked up other games such as Team Fortress 2. I do not plan on continuing my old projects and will perhaps start a new one.
I'm fairly certain few people will read this and I'll be sort of surprised if someone reads this and actually recognizes me, but I'll be here.

Hello, I wasn't here when you were, but being the weirdo who reads really old topics for no reason whatsoever when I'm bored, I'v seen you before. So hi.

I've seen your old posts before, quite a lot of them in the older topics.
Welcome back. Always great when a veteran member returns.
Aw you changed your F-4 Phantom II avatar. D:

A friend of mine mentioned Battlefront in conversation and it made me miss good old GT. I don't know if I'll be actively posting but I figured I'd at least stop in to say howdy. haha.
