How did you add that strobe effect to the environment lighting?

They're ODF lights actually, rather than environment lighting done in ZE.

Looks absolutely great guys, this mod is already ranking up there with Dark Times II and the conversion pack, well done. Now, I have two questions:

1. You said in the video description that there will be some other stock maps that will "undergo conversion into Mass Effect locale." What other maps would these be (Death Star?)?

2. Is there a glow or light added to the ocular receptors, or eyes, on the Geth? 'Cause when fighting in the dark, it'd be pretty awesome seeing those eyes moving in the shadows.

I can answer the glowing eyes question; Yes, they do. I gave it a form of glow that isn't intrusive, but the eyes will always be lit up no matter what!

We'd like to surprise you guys with what we do and don't do, so we won't say anything more about that.

Hey everyone! Few things:

0. Not so sneaky peek at future expansion pack: Unification DMI. NO MOAR DETAILS CURRENTLY, YO!

5. Small Virmire update. :) I think it makes it look SO much better.

Q. I've made a LOT of progress on the Prothean Skyway, and I've had even MORE fun making this progress! I've had tons of fun learning NURBS surface modeling and then shrink wrapping those surface meshes (see rubble), finding out that I'm not a crappy texture artist after all (see Skyway's garage; I made the "concrete" texture completely from scratch), attempting (and yet again failing) to get the collision to work properly for certain things such as the Skyway's hedgehog/rubble border, and just OH so much fun stuff! :D What's funny and kind of great and awesome is that every single freakin model in the screenshots below are made by me (except for the unit by TNA (durr) and the hedgehogs by 38 and Surf On's crates and the skydome by Pandemic :P )! As a note, I've only really just begun to add the cover props (also had to increase width of bunker to accommodate for crates).

This is a very cool update. Virmire does look a whole lot better, and the bumpmapping on the Prothean Skyway model is fantastic.

Just let me know when you want a port to the Xbox, guys  Looks like I should put some good time into some cool UI stuff in the future.

*only semi kidding -- I'd totally do it, but it depends on how much free time I have when it comes around*

If you have the time we'd love to have you to do a port to the Xbox.

I have never played Mass Effect, any of them, but I feel like I might have to now if they're as cool as this mod looks. Even so, this looks awesome having no basis for comparison at all. May not be Star Wars, but I might have to give this a try when it comes out!

I highly recommend you go and play them, they're really good games. Each has flaws, but overall they are great. You can get bundles of all 3 nowadays.

Technically, everything on this planet is flawed, but that's another topic for another time. :P But yeah, they're awesome even though I have yet to play 3 yet (I have 1 and 2).

Also I have to say again to you guys: Great work so far! Current build (the build shown in the latest video and pictures, you guys are likely on the next build as we speak) looks outstanding!

Well, except for Portal 2. :P That's the only game I've played where I can't find a flaw in it. But I understand where you are coming from.
