This is a bit of a far out idea, but here goes.
You start with a pistol, and your weapon changes to a random weapon when you kill someone. Then it takes more kills to progress to your next random weapon.
Just something I was thinking.

That seems like an interesting idea. To add to that, maybe as you increase in level you have a better chance of getting a better weapon.

I suppose I could have 1 kill with strongest gun, 2 kills with second strongest, and so on until 20 kills with starting pistol, but then it seems like the games might too long? The best player would have a very difficult time getting that many kills against other players with chainguns, for instance. But then I suppose that the game would be very balanced, which is a plus.
As for the idea of having weapons change randomly, do you mean that the order would be random (and every player has the same order)? Or that each player randomly switches (resulting in different orders among players)? The first scenario seems okay since everyone has to do it, but in the second one some players might get an unfair advantage. However, I don't know how many "versions" this mod should include. At the moment it's only a single mission, but if I were to include 2 eras (CW + GCW) x 3 modes (Gun Game + Reverse Gun Game + Randomized Gun Game) x 18 land maps = 108 missions, which is a big chunk of the mission limit. So I think I have to either be selective, break it into folders for people who wouldn't want everything, or allow a host to somehow set the rules before a match begins (perhaps by looking at settings, unit counts, hero rules, etc.)

Well, you wouldn't put it on every land map. Here's what I would put it on:

I don't see Hoth in this mod as it is much too large, and, without vehicles, is not very exciting. (Unless there were vehicles, but that's not the mod)
YES. Though this might be unbalanced at times, it will be fun. You could make it so you have to achieve a certain amount of kills to win. Yeah you're right, I won't include every map. I think I'll just add a few more in the next version, and if people suggest I add more, then I can do that in a later release. As for the randomized version, I will consider including it, but it might make more sense to make it a separate release later, so that I can focus on balancing it more. I would be interested in making a version of it with vehicles at one point, but for now I'll just focus on "ordinary" gun game, probably on small to medium maps.

Looks great! You should add custom weapons (like from other games (tomahawk anyone?)) and some nice new skins to choose from (like playing as Jar Jar ) of course, that's just a tip and it seems you have your hands full with balancing already so just work on that and MAYBE some day consider my ideas.
