I. Want. To. See. This. So. Bad.
The first one was okay, but Dark Knight was SOOOOOOOOO good.
There are rumors going around that Batman dies, though, and that is definitely DO NOT WANT.

But for now, I will be avoiding this topic until I see the movie. I'll get back to you, though.
Did you guys hear about Rotten Tomatoes? Basically, some of the critics were complaining about the movie being gloomy, and a bunch of the fans wrote a bunch of rave reviews complaining about the critic's response, so Rotten Tomatoes had to close down all standard commenting.
I don't mean to be a troll here, but I'm genuinely not excited about this. I'm sure it's really well done, but Bane as a villain totally disinterests me. Hope those who are stoked get the movie they want to see, though.

Very true, I'm not entirely sure I'm going to be hearing very much detail in conversation between two people who are mumbling, one through a mask, one just for the heck of it. To paraphrase,
"Why do you talk like that? You sound like you're gargling marbles." If you get that quote, you win a cookie.
The Hub put together a trailer for their B:TAS marathon. They actually got the various actors to read the lines from the TDKR trailer and spliced together a bunch of scenes from the series to mirror the story presented in the movie. Pretty cool watch.

Dangit. Tean beat me to it. I love HISHE. My favorite is still how the Terminator should have ended.
I'm leaning towards agreeing with Tean. Honestly after The Avengers(which I saw three times in beautiful digital projection at my favorite theater), any superhero movie is going to have to BRING IT for me. I don't feel that from DKR.
Having seen it, - no spoilers here - this movie absolutely establishes that Batman takes place in the same universe as Stargate. It's maybe an alternate universe (since C. Judge is a bad guy) - but no doubt:
Edit: And the mayor! He obviously quit the military and went in to politics, and his aggressive anti-crime stance would fit with ex-military. Stargate==DKR. True fact.
Saw movie.
Did not disappoint.
Will be seeing it a second time.

HHHHHHNNNNNNGGGGGGGHHHHHH I WANT ANOTHER ONE! ROBIN! I WANT DYNAMIC DUO!
Really, though, it's a shame they keep killing off the Al Ghuls. But I suppose trying to stay within the realm of science and NOT do the whole immortality thing is cool, too.
