Very nice, but something I'm noticing is that your anims tend to seem a bit more rushed than the ME ones.

Lookd quite nice! Only thing I would suggest is fixing up the UV's on the sides - they look noticeably stretched.

Also, on another note, the gun is in the wrong position in his hand, and it's quite noticeable. Is there any particular reason why you haven't got it a bit straighter?

Yeah, I just wanted to do a bake before I did anything more with the UVs.

Agh, yeah, I've just gotta create all new anims for the rifle bank such as one for idle, shoot, reload, and a couple others probably.

So you're saying you're going to make a new animation which moves the position of the hand to better match the rifle? That's pretty cool...good luck with that. :P

The medi-gel station looks awesome! Kind of like the bacta stations in Republic Commando. :o

The medi-gel station looks really cool, but it looks like it can only function if there is some sort of wall or something. I may be wrong though.

Are you going to have a crate full of ammo instead of ammo droids? Maybe you could also alter it so that it refills ammo with one shot.

ME has a medi-gel crate prop that works well on flat ground. That dispenser is only ever wall-mounted.

Man, that N7 armor model/texture looks old compared to the current one I'm working on ;)

Looks ok but what would really make it good is to UV map the sides, it's too obvious and surely for something as low poly you have enough texture space to do it.

Tiny preview of the new color scheme/model improvements from the last version. The armor no longer has an N7 style color scheme, it's been changed to be as similar to the Mass Effect 3 Alliance soldiers as I could get it. The visor is semi-transparent as well and houses a familiar face. I also added more material functions which to my knowledge have never been messed with before, so I hope those work. On top of that I also fixed a ton of model errors and tweaked some of the rigging to look exponentially better. I'll update here again in a little bit once I get it in-game.

I'd say that was worth a small update, right? :P

This is what the texture and model used to look like:

I was honestly really shocked when Marth told me he brought up the whole "N7 is ultra elite with a couple members and we see a load more Alliance Marines" issue I had talked to him about, to you.
So yeah, I can not begin to describe how happy I am to see the Alliance Marine! :runaway:

It looks brilliant! Totally worth the update, looking forward to seeing it ingame. :)

Changing the entire color scheme was literally 8 clicks away with the way I have the master texture file set up. No big deal there.

Dang, I like it. A LOT. I can't really comment on how the model itself can be improved though, as I am not a modeler.

Annoying Questions:
Hidden/Spoiler:
Do you guys have any plans for later helmets? Because the current model could just be tweaked a little bit and it would work for most human classes. Are you guys going to make a Salarian head (as well as the other more humanoid aliens) to add on to the main body too? And are there any plans for female models (like a female human infiltrator?)

I'm still trying to get it worked out that we can have female soldiers, despite Marth deciding that because The Nasal Abyss already has a lot of work to do, we won't be adding them. Given that we need to make a version for asari anyway, I'm going to see if we can get a female Alliance Marine as well. Salarian armor is very unique, and their bodies are shaped, oddly. So just sticking a salarian head on this armor wouldn't look the best, but it would be better than nothing. Turians need their own armor(we really only need one model for every single turian), we'll have to take care of that later. Marth already has a krogan head mostly done, although we need the armor as well. Batarians would be relatively easy, since we'd just need a new head.
