Re: Clone Wars Season 5
*gets excited that the first teaser for season 5 is finally out*
*is highly disappointed upon watching it*
What in the heck was that? That 35 seconds showed nothing new. We already knew that Maul and Savage would return, we already knew the Deathwatch would return. This isn't news. They usually have a decent teaser set up close to the end of the season, yet season 4's finale came and went without a word. Then this is what we get for all of our waiting? *sighs* I know I sound whiny, but this is ridiculous.
EDIT: Full trailer is coming out May 18th... *sighs*

Well yes, but typically a teaser trailer shows something new. A teaser is supposed to pique your interest, while the full trailer really grabs your attention.
Consider my interest not piqued.

*Dissappointed* This Trailer Has Hardly GRabbed My Attention AT All. I Mean Sure It's Hard To Get Anyway, But This Is Pathetic.

Re: Clone Wars Season 5
On behalf of the Clone Wars crew, we would like to congratulate Marvel Studios and Joss Whedon on the incredible release of The Avengers. We’re also very proud of the team at ILM who made the effects and action scenes beyond spectacular. There are many fans of Marvel comics on the Clone Wars crew, and the biggest fan of all has to be episodic director Steward Lee. Knowing what a fan he is, I sketched up a special Clone Commander for an upcoming episode of Season 5. Clone Commander Thorn is obviously our homage to “Thor, the god of thunder.” Commander Thorn even carries a Z-6 blaster canon named “the Hammer.” Enjoy this sneak peak at a new clone from Season 5.

Thanks for sharing that TW, very awesome. Thor(n), haha. I think I make might a Phase I version of him and add him in TCW (since I'm working on that again, finally). Problem would be finding room for him.

Hmm, I'm not sure if I like the idea of him having the iconic armor already. Boba still has some more growing up physically to do, meaning he'll have multiple sets of the same armor but at different sizes.

Re: Clone Wars Season 5

Hopes for Season 3 rejuvenated. I hope they make an arc about how Boba Fett got his suit. THAT would be pretty cool. (Of course it's already been decided whether he does or not, but I'm just being hopeful.)
@ AQT:
It looks a little big on him. It might just be wishful thinking. However, it may be possible for certain parts of the armor to be replaced as needed, while the core is retained. At any rate, I think Boba Fett can be used well. Also, the sense of time in The Clone Wars is somewhat vague, and allows room for jumping (Like the Clone Cadets arc). He might have finished his growth spurt already. Once again, probably wishful thinking.

Re: Clone Wars Season 5
I want it to be cleaner. Notably less scratches on the gun and jetpack. The helmet and armor look fine, if he's been a bounty hunter for about a year now.
I'm okay with him having multiple sets of armor throughout the years, I notice this one doesn't have any visible wookiee pelts, I just want SOME showing that he's still kinda new at this.

Re: Clone Wars Season 5
Twilight is right. It is much too early to have his iconic armor. I mean, he got it between episodes III and IV. This is AFTER Order 66 and the re-killing of Darth Maul.

Re: Clone Wars Season 5
If I remember correctly, he had it after ep2 and made some size adjustments. I was actually wondering why he didn't have it earlier in the show...

Re: Clone Wars Season 5
While it's always cool to see the ol' Boba Fett armor, I'll echo what everyone is saying about it being a little too soon. I thought the armor he had in "Bounty" could have sufficed for the rest of his appearances but I guess people want to see him in the iconic suit, especially if he'll be working alongside Cad Bane, as has been hinted. Understandable since the show runners can't pass up the opportunity to have such iconic characters appear together as the fans know them best.

Oh hey, they're bringing Hondo back! And did I see him with a Luxury 3000 Frigate?
I'm looking forward to seeing the non-bootleg version. Diet Coca-Cola you Lucasfilm for not releasing it online sooner.
