Try that when the shield is still up. When the laser is charged it becomes an ion cannon, which doesn't do much damage to physical targets but drops shields quickly.Anakin wrote:this mod is great. some questions:

How easy would it be to uninstall this properly so I have the same files I started out with? Is there an uninstaller that does it well, or should I take note of which files to copy to another location?

Re: Dark Times II: Rising Son - Released!
If you know how to "uninstall" the 1.3 patch then you know how to "uninstall" this. The mod in and of itself doesn't change or replace anything; it just adds a mod folder to the addon folder. You shouldn't have to do any replacement on the 1.3 patch anyway, though, since it doesn't break any compatibility online or otherwise. If you need to modify settings of the 1.3 patch, the 1.3 installer is included with the download. All the locations of all the files are listed in the mod's documentation.Minwu325 wrote:How easy would it be to uninstall this properly so I have the same files I started out with? Thanks. So as I understand everything is in the same folder as the maps? On another note, could I get the campaign to work online?

Re: Dark Times II: Rising Son - Released!
Every part of the mod, aside from the 1.3 patch, is located in the "BDT" addon folder (which by itself, is just like any addon map - although it obviously has more content). You're welcome to play around with the campaign modes online in a similar way to how the stock campaign is played online. It's been brought up before and is outlined in this post:Minwu325 wrote:Thanks. So as I understand everything is in the same folder as the maps? Please keep in mind that the campaign is supported and designed for single-player only (just like the stock campaign) and may not function as desired online.

Re: Dark Times II: Rising Son - Released!
Finally got around to downloading this great mod. I have to say it is the most well thought out mod I have ever expeienced. I really like the attention to detail, especially the whale on Mon Calamari: Glacier.

Just remove the user script file in C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Battlefront II\GameData\data. I forget the name of the file right now, and I am not at my computer to check it.
