No, that's not the case for this Venator-class Star Destroyer... It has been delivered in retail parts to its owner...

This is a sentence pronounced by the author of this Star Wars Capital Ship, and believe me, you won't have to pay "workers" to re-build this model if it was in retail parts...

Not sure where you got that impression, would like to know. The following was taken from the actual ebay description:

Model is built around a steel armature that runs down the spine of the ship and includes a rolling steel display frame

Model took over 450 hours to design and build

You will need about 4 people to unpack it and mount on the display stand

while the model has been refurbished it does still show some minor wear from its convention tour this past summer.

All this I would feel would tend to suggest that not only is the ship already built, after all you wouldn't need 4 people to unpack some bricks, you could do that yourself. Plus I'm guessing that the construction instructions would be the size of a phone book! Anyway, still a nice model.
