It seems I have had a sudden inspiration to go make an epic lightsaber video so I may not be back for a while...who knows?

I actually gave up making lightsaber videos so I would have time to mod.

Lightsaber videos are extremely time consuming, but if you get them choreographed right and it all looks good, then WHAMMO, you've got yourself a masterpiece. I will probably still be posting at GT but not very much about the whole "modding" section.THEWULFMAN wrote:Noobasaurus wrote:It seems I have had a sudden inspiration to go make an epic lightsaber video so I may not be back for a while...who knows?

Re: The HELLO / GOODBYE topic
For the last several years, I've only ever used one chair. I think you can guess where it was. I didn't used to call it a computer addiction, but it is obvious to me that that is what I have. I hide behind virtual realities to feel comfortable, and to hide from the real world. I used all the typical excuses of "I just like computer games!" and "I could stop any time!" but the fact remains that from dawn to dusk for the past few years I have done nothing but use the computer. Recently, I've started beginning to rationalize and accept that my habits aren't normal, they aren't good for me, and they aren't going to go away on their own. I'm tired of falling asleep at night thinking "Another day wasted on the computer". I'm only going to be young once, and when I'm old I don't want to look back on it thinking I've wasted my life. So I'm stopping today. Now. I "quit" bf2 towards the end of last school year, but that didn't really work out. This time, it will. I am confident that I can make it work, no matter hard it will be at first.
So essentially, I'm going to be stopping my computer usage almost entirely. As such, I will (hopefully) not show up to these forums again for a long time. I've made good friends here, but I need to let go of you all for my own sake. Someday I may return to the realm of stupid video games, but only after I've broken my habit and I can regulate myself better.
Thank you for all the laughs and such,
Snork

I think this is actually becoming true now. Cya Noobasaurus, good luck. I have made a couple myself, so I know how tough they can be.
I care. Welcome back.

On this day I understand this post. You can regulate your computer usage good. I want it to work for you.Snork wrote:For the last several years, I've only ever used one chair.
