This is an update (or re-release if you will) of Naboo: Sewers in a multiplayer friendly version. Uber mode has been removed from all modes except XL, that way AI can be set to zero and it can be a total human player battle. Hunt mode has been added pitting Droid rocketeer against Naboo Vanguard. It is rockets and mines only and the rockets can lock on :twisted: .

Also sad to say I made the decision to remove the Swampa from the map that way he wouldn't interfere with the outcome. Even though nothing has changed as far as AI is concerned my testers say that conquest mode is more fun now when you don't have to worry about the Swampa coming and sneaking up behind you.

What is fun to do in conquest is get them down to one command post down one of the end tunnels and just keep lobbing grenades down it.
Okay I like carnage. :D

Naboo: Sewers MP

This is the same map modified to be more multiplayer friendly.
Ubermode has been removed from all game modes except XL so now modes can be played without AI.
Also a Hunt mode has been added it pits Naboo Royal Vanguard agains the Droid Rocketeer.
Both have rocket launchers with lock on capabilities (10 rockets) and 20 landmines.
Oh and sadly the Swampa has been removed from the Conquest mode that way he doesn't
determine the outcome of the game.

Original Readme:

This is my first map, and first time making models in XSI so be kind.
All models within the sewer were made by me, except sewer lady she is a modded
model from Naboo assets.

The layout of the map is fairly simple but the game play is very good with good intense action. I plays very well online also.

You can leave the sewers via secret exits and get to Theed proper but to prevent you hanging around too long the turrets that were placed for defensive reasons have gone a little haywire and will shoot at anyone.

You can get back down into the sewers by destroying the sewer covers, not all are destructable.

Game modes
There are five game modes, AI counts have been boosted for all maps (nothing rediculous though)

- Conquest
(removed the bleed for having less command posts the the enemy)
- One and two flag Capture the Flag 
For two flag the flags are up top in the City
- Assault
Normal Assault mode
- XL
Big battle lots of carnage, you will spawn at one of 7 spots around the map. Because of intense confined space battle had to raise kill count to 1000

Both eras are supported in all modes except assault.

- Modded Sides
None really as this is my first map I didn't want to go too crazy with things

- Known Bugs
Boba doesn't have sound for his rifle when playing as the hero, I have tried multiple sound file combinations and I will get firing sounds but all the water related sounds go away or even better I get no sound at all. So until I find a solution he has a silencer on his weapon. Exception to this is in assault mode I decided to forego the water sounds to make sure all the heros had proper sounds.

Unzip the file and add the NBS folder to your addon directory.
If you want to keep the original as well you will need to copy the NBS directory off to somewhere safe
as the MP version still uses the same 3 letter code.

What!? No Swampa!!?!? WHHHHHYYYYY! Oh well I'm sure it was the right decision. Cool now that it's multiplayer compatible now. The Rockets only mode sounds fun. Hopefully a sever for it will be up soon. Great job on the map FragMe!

thanks for getting rid of the Swampa. lets face it, there is no reason for one to be on naboo any more than there is for a gungun to be on hoth.

@ARC_Tooper he got flushed down there when he was small :)

@squid11 yes everything in the sewers (except the lady statues) are all custom made objects including the sewer covers.

NP I got tired of the Swampa sneaking up and killing me while I was trying to kill someone else. :lol: Plus I wanted to add the hunt mode too, does anyone like that mode? I had done a mod to the Naboo Vaguard by putting my face in vanguard, looked pretty good too but I didn't include it cause it just felt wrong letting everyone have the ability to shoot me :P

I have 3 things to say/ask
1 Verry fun map rocket only mode is fun but i found only 3 bots (Probly my fault)
2 Please explain what Uber Mode is?
3 Can somone give me link to the non Mp version?

1 In the Hunt mode I reduced the amount of AI so there it would be more challenging in MP mode less to shoot at so shooting the other human players counts towards the kill total that then "filling up on bots"
2 When a map has Uber mode on it allows for lots or AI to be on the map at a time the problem being that you can't reduce the amount of AI to zero if playing a MP mode that is why Uber was removed.

Pretty neat map, I like the tunnels n such, although I get lost a lot :) Especially like the stuff floating around in the water. 1-flag is fun, although the goals need AI spawning in front of them so they protect.
One issue I found is in 2-flag, if I'm the rep's I can't get the flag (there's some invisible wall in the way), and if I'm CIS I can score under the ground, without having to come up above ground and run through the goal.

Big bump but hey it is my topic and there have been a lot of new members since the original release so I decided to brave it.

This is a re-release of the map and first time on Star Wars Battlefront on Filefront site.
See first post for the release notes and pics.

The problem mentioned in the last post has been fixed, you can actually get to both flags in 2 flag now. That is the last and only change that was and will be made. This map is 4 years old. There is still a pathing problem in 2 flag where the AI gets stupid so play 1 flag it is a lot more fun anyway.

And yes the Swampa is still gone.
