Error message when opening folders [Solved]

If you've noticed I havn't been on this site for at least a few months, it's because 1. I havn't had much time to and 2. whenever i open a file (like bf2 modtools) I get an error message saying "This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Please install a program or, if one is already installed, create an association in the Default Programs control panel."

I use Win 7 incase that is important.
