This one has several good things going for it:SBF_Dann_Boeing wrote:Hmm... I'm concerned how far they're going to drag this series out. Hopefully it doesn't flop...
^This. Whereas, I did go get to see the third one in theaters, but for the previous two, I didn't.GangsterJawa wrote:All of me says I have to go see it because I wasn't able to see any of the other ones in theaters.

-It's a self-contained story, unlike the last two sequels.
-They're working with a completed script, unlike the last two sequels.
-The story is based on an existing book, which might work in the movie's favor.
-Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightly aren't returning.
-Penelope Cruz, Ian McShane and Geoffery Rush.
There's a lot of potential. I think the series is at its best when the movies are self-contained stories like the first one. Pirates should aspire to be like Indiana Jones or James Bond, rather than Lord of the Rings or some other epic.
One thing that does concern me is the rumor that Disney has already asked for two additional sequels after this. Hopefully they're not haphazardly rushed out like 'Chest and 'World's End.
Spaceballs reference. When Yogurt says "Spaceballs 2: The Search for More Money."YTF wrote:Pirates of the Caribbean 5: The Search for More Money
