That actually looks like Windows XP with Classic setting on, if I'm not mistaken.

What the...I smelled fruit roll-ups when I saw that background for some reason. Maybe my memory is linked to that picture and the smell...

Re: Post Your Desktop! II
Wow, what campaign missions did you take them on? I'm guessing the last one is Long Night of Solace?

1st: New Alexandria after the first main mission is complete. A cruiser will fly in and hover over the right side of the city, then fire.
2nd: New Alexandria after the second main mission is complete. A cruiser will fly in over the mountain behind the starting area and glass the left side of the city. I zoomed to maximize the red flash and rain effect.
3rd: Long Night of Solace after the engines have been destroyed. A bunch of Space Banshees are hanging like bats under the Corvette at the start. After the engines are gone, they all blast off at once.

Re: Post Your Desktop! II
Off-Topic: Depends on how much RAM you have, and your system as a while. The PC that desktop is on is pretty beastly (Custom built it myself), so I don't notice any significant drop. But I haven't seen much performance drop on slower machines either. The normal version of ObjectDock is free, so the best way to see how it affects your system would be to simply try it out yourself. There are a few options that you can use to make it use less resources, and since it's free, there's no monetary risk involved.Lozza wrote: Offtopic: Does objectdock make a game run a bit slower?

Possibly the most beautiful desktop I've ever had.
I just wish she hadn't cut her hair....
