Yeah, we tried (well we actually succeeded with the prototype) to make some low-cost "SMART" boards using this method at my school... We never got the final product approved by the school so the school has 4 Wiimotes in the IT office now.

Looks like every school in the U.S. should be including Wiimotes in their budgets next year. They could put a setup like that in every classroom for a fraction of the cost it would take to get a few SMART boards
