Just curious, but what's with the goggles? Maybe I'm out of the loop, but it seems a little "Jan Ors".Maveritchell wrote:I went ahead and redid the head (and the corresponding texture) for the Mara Jade model since it could look a bit better:Hidden/Spoiler:

I'd say you should shorten his neck a bit, and make his eyes red. Everything else, is just greatMaveritchell wrote: Less gun, more Bossk:Hidden/Spoiler:

Re: Dark Times II: Rising Son
I know Bossk is listed as having red eyes, but they always have a yellow hue to them. My reference was the Sideshow bust (they usually have very accurate models):CodaRez wrote:I'd say you should shorten his neck a bit, and make his eyes red. Everything else, is just great

His movie source also has a yellow tint:

...and at the end of the day yellow has better contrast.
Lots of her source images show her as having goggles.Teancum wrote:Just curious, but what's with the goggles? Maybe I'm out of the loop, but it seems a little "Jan Ors".

I originally had goggles closer in color to the ones shown, but I changed them to give more contrast when I remodeled the head. I also had/have them up on her forehead instead of around her neck because it made doing the hairline easier (read: I was lazy).

This is an awesome update Mav!
Just 1 question though, will the ai automatically run away from the health regen grenades? Because that is what happens by default and i wondered if you'd fixed it up..

Re: Dark Times II: Rising Son
Looks excellent as usual. Jade improvements very good.
And you used bacta nades (I tried to make them years ago, failed dismally, made a 'deployable' health droid - really a fancy dispensible beacon for DS V2)

Unless its lua based then the health regen nades will have to be beacons not grenades, so probably not.lucasfart wrote:This is an awesome update Mav!

Wow! I'm so glad that someone finally made another Leia texture! I also love that Bossk, it's way better than that one model with the round head(?)! This is going to be awesome!

IG-88 has one big blaster rifle.
Just coming to this topic gives me inspiration to try harder.
Thanks!

Re: Dark Times II: Rising Son
Hey Mav, I was wondering... is Alderaan gonna be added to this great mod? Cuz we don't have many maps of that planet and I think it would be a great addition to this mod.

Re: Dark Times II: Rising Son
Since DT II takes place between the events of episode IV and V, I'm going to guess no for the reason that made Alderaan famous.

It could be a space map. I guess they call it "The Graveyard" or something.AQT wrote:Since DT II takes place between the events of episode IV and V, I'm going to guess no for the reason that made Alderaan famous.

Re: Dark Times II: Rising Son
im guessing this is still a work in progress since the last post was only likle 25 days ago. space alderraan would be pretty sick, (or a planet version would be cool too) but i just wanted to say that you should put in the first boss you face in the jedi temple from the force unleashed. (the realllllyyyy evil looking one with the sheild and all dressed up in red, he constantly brags about how it took the whole jedi council to defeat him or something) anyway, i figured he would be an awesome character to have (maybe some sheild defense action taking place in there(hint hint, nudge nudge)) anyway, AWESOME JOB with everything (and i MEAN EVERYTHING!) that youve done so far!

Re: Dark Times II: Rising Son
This is sweet. Will it change the heros and maps for the dark times 1? I'm saying that because there was like, rahm kota on coruscant and weird stuff like that

Re: Dark Times II: Rising Son
i loved the Rahm Kota and the Shadow Guard especially. if you could mav, why not give Rahm a throwable beer bottle as a weapon that has an explosion that looks like beer spewing? it would be pretty accurate considering he goes drunk after you pwn him in Nar Shadaa.
