Dude, I feel for you... I never liked the Odyssey.
How can you not like it? There were so many awesome moments Odysseus had. I have to say, it's one of the few classics that I actually like..
Nova Hawk wrote: Well IMO, I never liked it because I didn't like all those ancient Greek mythology stuff but that's just me.

I'm reading Can't buy Me Love- The Beatles, Britain, and America . It's about the Beatles, obviously, and it's pretty nifty.

...You're a little over half my age... and I'm jealous of a book you're reading. Weird.
Isn't there a rule that the minimum age is 12 or something? Or is that just a *almost always the case* thing.

Are you thinking of the "Child Online Protection Act"? I'm a member of twcenter.net, and they ban members under 13 for that reason. (funny thing is, the law was declared unconstitutional by the US supreme court and is unenforced...)
I don't think GT has a minimum age requirment though; I could be wrong...

I don't think there's an age limit on this site (to my knowledge, at least). I think the only requirement is just follow the rules and act maturely.

Oh, I know what I was thinking about:

You all know what's rude and what's not. You're adult enough for that. I mean, I'm guessing the absolute youngest person here couldn't be younger than 11. Even an eleven year old can be nice.
Whaddyaknow, the youngest person is 8! Ok, w/e. End of discussion.

I just started reading Climategate by Brian Sussman and in the book it exposes the lies of climate change (aka Global Warming).

Japan's War: The Great Pacific Conflict, by Edwin P. Hoyt. It's pretty interesting; it starts in the 1800s and ends in 1952, I think.

Ah, good book. I just finished reading through that a couple weeks ago. I think I'm gonna start in either Ephesians or James.
