If you're talking about the text document icon on the desktop then all you have to do is single-click it. If you're talking about the Internet Explorer icon in the task bar then all you have to do is open up multiple windows of the same program/application.

No, no, I'm talking about the boxes around the icons on the desktop... like the one that says "SWBF2 Modding".
