KotOR 2 Not Working On Vista

My bro has a Windows Vista 32 bit and I cant get KotOR 2 to work on his Vista. Ive installed the 'fix' and Im running it as administrator. I have gone through all of the compatability options. Also KotOR 1 has some stability issues.

What exactly doesn't work? Saying it doesn't work is like saying "my car is broken". Do you get an error? Does the game start up at all? Does it lock up? ..... etc...

Once you create the character and the opening crawl finishes, you hear like half a second of sound and the game locks up and you get the 'not responding' mrssage

You need to get the vista patch off the KotORFiles site, this may be the "fix" you are talking about, but if it isn't, you should get it.

Do you have anything in your override folder?

Yes thats the 'fix' Im talking about, and no my override folder is empty

if i dont click the game open in vista in the directory of the game and mash it 5 or more times it wont even load, i.e. shortcuts for me in win32 Vista = fail.

the game, even with fugly graphics is amazing to me! just about to get my lightsaber , red, double ftw!
