But hat just means that they took the time to find the best actor possible, no matter how much she look like the character. Plus it's made by the director who did HP:SS and HP:CoS, two movies that stuck to their books as accurately as possible.

Ping makes a valid argument, but seeing as they're going to have to fix everything, I'm just going o assume they're going to stray evenfarther from the ook to make everything tie in. It all makes me wonder how Rowling feels about all of this...
Well you remember the beginning of the HBP? The whole aftermath scene? Well they may do something like that to brush over Dumbledore's funeral. Also if you watch the deleted scenes, one in one of the last ones Ginny and Harry share a look that seemed to me that they had broken up, but I'm not really sure (and it's not crucial to the plot)
Of course it's crucial to the plot. Have you read the last two books?
Hidden/Spoiler:
Harry breaks up with Ginny because he decides not to return to Hogwarts in order to search for the Horcruxes (a plot element which they royally screwed up in the film, and will have to sort out in the next film, will most likely be done in a matter of five minutes), and plus it shows how much he loves her, so much that they get married like a year or two after and have kids.

Geez, this movie is going to be one big plot hole. And I thought Attack of the Clones was bad.

Sorry but I always just saw that as some unnecessary (still nice though) love story that really wasn't important to the main plot (destroying horcruxes).
Eh, scratch that, I do think they butchered their relationship, (which I actually loved due to the comic relief) but as far as hallows and horcruxes go, it won't matter much

When you say "they may do something like that to brush over Dumbledore's funeral", I'm not sure what you mean. Dumbledore's funeral already happened in the sixth book and technically the movie (although they skipped it completely). So either the words "they may" are typo's or you are seriously confused.

Well the aftermath scene had already happened in the book and technically in the movie, so that's what I meant. What I'm saying is they could pass it off as a memory or something, but it definitely can add some foreshadowing

Honestly, Attack of the Clones was not bad. The only blech parts about it were the whole romance subplot between Padme and Anakin, like he was more of the perv than the macho guy, it didn't feel as natural. Otherwise it was pretty Diet Dr. Pepper good, even though I rate the other two of the PT over it.

Ah, I see what you mean. Anyway I think there will be some things they just have to skip or almost skip. When I say almost skip I mean like what they did to the Quidditch World Cup scene in the forth movie. How they showed the match being started and right when it's about to start they skip to everyone talking about what happened during it. Now I don't particularly approve of this method but I guess sometimes it's necessary. I would't be surprised if we see something like that in the DH movie.

I do completely agree with you on that one. I think that some details will be cut from DH, but I think Yates has done the best job since The Chamber of Secrets.
Wouldn't it be awesome if they released a 5+ hour long DVD with EVERYTHING from the books. I mean that would be major winage. Although highly unlikely. But I can still have my hopes

3-D! Now when I first saw this I was angry. But after reading this part of the article I sighed in relief.
"The 3-D changes to the final "Harry Potter" epics won't affect their release dates, however. The first "Deathly Hallows" is still set for Nov. 19 and the second part will end the franchise in May, 2011."
Anyway I don't think they will be releasing a "5+ hour long DVD with EVERYTHING from the books" in 3-D. Sorry

They have already started to release "Ultimate Editions" of the first few films. It's just what we saw in theaters with the deleted scenes put in and a whole ton of extra features.

Ultimate or not, it still has little connections to the source material.
