That would be intense!
I feel like if there's going to be 8 survivors in the campaign, there's got to be a ton of zombies. They already throw a lot at the survivors when there's 4, so I'd imagine they'd have to put at least double the zombies in to match the double in firepower (8 people's worth vs 4). Maybe even start throwing two tanks at us in the middle of the campaign? That'd be crazy fun.
Well it is confirmed that you play as the new group. So in the campaign Bill, Zoey, Louis, and Francis will be AI. Hopefully AI from the first game.
I don't see why everyone is/are jumping to conclusions of us killing them or them dying or being zombies. Valve's not dumb, they know that the original four are more memorable than the new four.

And more importantly, both groups are immune, therefore, they will not become zombies, even if they die.
Some really cool dudes converted L4D campaigns into L4D2. Both original and modified to the gameplay. I have it installed. If you want to play hit me up. I'm usually free. EST

I've finally finished recording the infected game play series. Check it out for a good laugh. Also if you have a youtube account be sure subscribe/rate/comment/allthatstuff.
Bought it yesterday, looks a lot more realistic than l4d. Not sure whether I like that or not Whacking the heads off of realistic looking people seems to bother me. And the new characters suck compared to the previous ones. Especially Ellis annoys me.
Moving_Target wrote:Ellis really? I found him hilarious and loveable. Rochelle annoys me.
And I agree that L4D cast are better than L4D2.
I'm annoyed by Ellis too, for the most part. Rednecks annoy me. Nick is my favorite, for his hilarious cynicism. Rochelle is just...boring? ordinary? I dunno.
Ellis makes me laugh because of his buddy Keith.
Coach? He's their one-man cheeseburger A-POC-A-LIPS.
Nick is the only normal one, and he's Francis with hair.
Rochelle is the equivalent of the Shy Guys in Mario Kart DS. Playable, but they're just there for the other people. And they have like three good lines.
Even after I got familiar with the maps I still can get overwhelmed. The Concert Line, the Mall Security, and the Bridge Finale horde events still get me sometimes, they can even bring me down to 30 health on Easy mode
Yeah, I did find L4D2 harder than L4D1. In the first my friends and I could blow through advanced with little trouble. In 2 we had trouble with normal. But now we're more experienced and normal is a breeze. So we'll be moving up to advanced soon haha. I have beaten Dead Center on Expert though.
I'd be game to make a campaign tooo. Hammer is very easy and fun. Tutorials are very clear.

It does sound nuts...just think of 10 people with blue hoodies all screaming at the same time and pouncing on YOU. L4D2 was pretty fun, but half the characters dont seem as interesting as any of the old group.
