It only unlocks Source SDK if DM comes with a paid game.

Same thing happened to me, I had to buy Portal in order to play mods.

Yeah, I got CS:S.
Also, I picked up Portal yesterday for $8!
I wanna play it pretty bad but I can't because my computer is upstairs without internet... (I'm on the family computer right now and I'm not allowed to install anything on it). So hopefully I get internet upstairs soon.

You already did tell me about it (if you're talking about PVKII, that is) and I played it for the few weeks that my computer was still downstairs. It was a blast

However, now my computer's upstairs.
And I found out that I'll be getting internet in my room once I show my parents that I can bring my grades up this year, which has already been happening. (I totally slacked off last year... I don't recommend it)
