Re: Battlefront: Unleashed
Whew - just finished up the ninth and final animationset/combo for the Jedi heroes - and the good news is that despite the size of the combos/animationbanks, they still all fit in one hero assault mode.
Since I finished that up, I also took some time to take some pictures of a few of the "Hero Support" units. Every hero in Battlefront: Unleashed will have a "partner" hero support unit that is unlockable whenever that hero is assigned to the team for that map (except for Starkiller, who borrows one from whichever faction he is assigned to at the time). For example - if the Emperor shows up on Coruscant, his Royal Guards will be unlockable as the Empire's seventh unit.
With that said, here are four hero support units - see if you can figure out who they belong to!
Militia Elite
Equipment: Blaster Rifle, Mortar Attachment, Force Pike
Alderaan Guard
Equipment: Shotgun (Charge), Blaster Pistol, Flechette Mines
Royal Guard
Equipment: Double-Blade Vibrostaff, Poison, Thermal, and Haywire Detonators
Stormtrooper Commander
Equipment: Heavy Blaster, Blaster Pistol, Personal Shield Generator

All very nice units Mav (and the Mygeeto alteration is pretty neat too)...just a question though - are those posion nades grenades with lua coding attached, or modified strike beacons?

They're zero-altitude orbital strikes, yes. Lua weapons I like to avoid in sides mods.Skyhammer_216 wrote:are those posion nades...

Re: Battlefront: Unleashed
First I thought Bail too, but I just cant imagine him running around with a pistol. He is more of a politician than a cowboy.Null_1138 wrote:Maveritchell wrote:Three out of four.negah wrote:Let me guess: hmmmmm

But if Leia is wrong I cant think of anything else. Maybe Shaak Ti (although felucians would be better for her).

Re: Battlefront: Unleashed
At one point the era list was supposed to scroll or it scrolled in swbf1. There is code left in the shell scripts containing parts a of scrolling version of the eras and game modes lists. However, the scrolling version does not contain checkboxes. It looked really bad and wasn't too functional. I posted a picture of it a long time ago...the era list is supposed to scroll, according to Zerted
The v1.3 patch limits the amount of displayed game modes and era checkboxes. I've lost the source code to the v1.3 patch, so it can't be easily changed, but it can still be changed. The amount of displayed eras/game modes is stored in a variable. A cGC that prints out all the global variables (like the 'Print Global Nested' FakeConsole command) when the campaign starts will print out the name of the variable that contains the value. A cGC script can then change this value when the script is initially loaded and increase the amount of displayed eras.
Maps can be put anywhere. Only their addme.script needs to be in the addon folder. I'm not sure if a cGC map needs an addme script. The addme adds the map to the map selection lists. GC maps are directly coded into the shell or are added through the v1.3 cGC scripts. The addon folder isn't some magic folder that makes the maps only appear in instant action, it's where all mods go and they are loaded through the addme script. Look at the KOTOR GC, its extra map still needs to be in the addon folder.

Looks great, but will I need the 1.3 patch in order to play this mod?
