Yeah, it's a definite issue. We haven't had the source files for that map for a very long time, however. So we're sortof stuck with it as-is._BR3AK3R_ wrote:I'm not sure if it is just my problem , but on Rattatak, i've got a graphics-problem. Everywhere where should be stairs are just black floorspaces. Also you can walk through some rocks at the walls of the big arena. I think on the third floor the textures of the corridors are messed up. Additionally at a specific place of a corridor you fall through the ground.
I think it's just a problem of my computer because I think you wouldn't release such a buggy map.
Has anyone else these problems?

Re: BUG REPORTS - Conversion Pack v2.0
Utapau Hunt KotoR era- The Cliff Wampas get three points for every kill and the other side only gets one, meaning the Wampas win the game in about a minute with a score of about 60 to 3. I think it's supposed to be reversed where the other side gets three points for every kill so that they actually have a chance of surviving against the Wampas.
Space Rakata Space Assault KotoR era- This map is ridiculously difficult to complete. You only get one point per kill (and you don't have homing weapons, so it's tough to do) and don't get any points for blowing up the command ships. When you blow up all the command ships, the enemy can't spawn and so you're left sitting around in space until you decide to quit.
All KotoR hero assault modes- All blaster characters are worthless because their guns do diddly squat against other heroes. It takes as many as 15 shots to take down a Jedi and most likely they've already killed you by then. Can they be a little better balanced so that they actually stand somewhat of a chance against Jedi?

Have you actually tried blowing all three up and not just considering it? If you blow up all the command ships, the map ends.Thunderforge wrote:Space Rakata Space Assault KotoR era- This map is ridiculously difficult to complete. Those blaster characters are stronger against Jedi than the stock blaster characters. Many of them have melee weapons too, and the ones that don't have mines or powerful blasters (Carth's Sniper Shot kills in about three hits, and it takes almost no time to charge; Atton's Power Blast kills in one hit at close range). Don't write them off just because they're new.All KotoR hero assault modes- All blaster characters are worthless because their guns do diddly squat against other heroes. Edit: And in many cases the ranged characters are better than the Jedi. Why? A list of all the ranged characters:
Atton: Power Blast and Plasma mines (both are one-hit kills against heroes)
Calo Nord: Thermal detonators (push and high damage, unblockable)
Carth: Sniper shot and thermal detonators
Chuundar: Melee and range (all Jedi are melee-only)
Hanharr: Is admittedly bad, but still has sonic grenades which is essentially an unblockable force push
HK-47: Sniper rifle (3/4 hit kill)
Mandalore: Plasma and sonic grenades (knockdown, then high damage with another push knockdown)
Mission: Melee and range
Saul: Plasma and sonic grenades
And that's not to mention the fact that on any given open map, these characters have a huge advantage over Jedi, because a Jedi has to close the gap before they can attack.

Admittedly, no. I blew up two and was afraid that the map would get stuck if I blew up all three, so I quit. My bad, I should have tested it. Regardless, I think that the map is misleading because it's not obvious that you should or even can blow up the ships. I figure that you should get points for blowing up the ship, that way the user actually thinks that they're supposed to blow it up, just like how you get points for blowing up critical systems in regular maps. The fact that I didn't get any points made me think that it was a glitch to blow up the ships.
And 3/4 of health with a sniper? I tried sniping with HK on Kashyyk: Docks and I sure wasn't getting that. And I was getting headshots too! Maybe I'm just have bad aim.

I played Hero Assault on Endar Spire. That's close quarters and you don't have any time to lay a mine or get a headshot with a sniper and their guns still don't do anything. And if you're playing human players (like I was), they're smart enough to avoid mines, run from a grenade, or force speed towards you to attack you (and make you fall over so you can't attack back). Perhaps blaster characters fare better on larger maps, but I still say they're worthless in closed quarters like Endar Spire. Those blaster characters are stronger against Jedi than the stock blaster characters. Re: BUG REPORTS - Conversion Pack v2.0
Oh, you're definitely right about Endar Spire. Jedi are really a lot more powerful there. Once you move to maps that are more open (pretty much any exterior map), the odds shift in favor of ranged characters. (And I meant 3 or 4 hits to kill a unit, not three-quarters their "hits.")Thunderforge wrote:but I still say they're worthless in closed quarters like Endar Spire.

And if you think that you should get points for blowing up capitals, then that's something I can look into. I didn't even think to do it because, honestly, letting the capitals be destroyed was an afterthought (I really just wanted to test to see if I could effectively remove all aspects of a working space CP). As for anything else, the space mode in Rakata Prime is a standard TDF mode (50 kills to win).

Re: BUG REPORTS - Conversion Pack v2.0
That wouldn't have anything at all to do with the Conversion Pack. It's just a mod. Check to make sure you disc isn't scratched up and that you aren't trying to run no-CD patches.

Re: BUG REPORTS - Conversion Pack v2.0
Naboo Hero Assault is unplayable because the AI's don't spawn and there is unlimited reforcements intead of score counters. The mode also exits like a Galactic Conquest match. Endar Spire CTF (I forgot which one) is unplayable because the AI's don't spawn and it's set up like Conquest (reinforcement counters).

Geonosis: Spire KoTOR era - No hero for Sith. Also, I don't know if this is a bug but the Old Republic spawns with all but 2 of the CP's controlled.

To many addon maps. Try only having about 20 total in your addon folder then seeing if it crashes.

I get that a lot too, for over a year now. DVD isn't scratched or dirty at all. But I just try again, sometimes it reads it instantly, sometimes I have to try like 10 times.warofchaos wrote:when i installed it

Has nothing to do with the convo pack though.

If it's a genuine disc and isn't scratched up then he should try another CD/DVD drive if he has one. Sounds like a drive is slowly dying.Darth Revan wrote:Off Topic: My bud had that cd problem to except it was because of the 1.1 patch is there a way to fix it

If you get in the v-19 torrent the effect of the mid wing engine is already into place when the wing itself still has to move down.
