Yep I'm patched to 1.1. I don't understand what the problem is.

@Warpedout: What version of Windows are you using? When you run menu.bat, it should give you some errors about not finding a registry key. Are you seeing one, two, or three of those errors?

Re: Conversion Pack 2.0 release thread
Is there a way to manually install 1.3?
Edit:I have windows xp. Yet it says something about not finding REG in Windows XP. It also says the same thing about Vista 32 and Vista 64(but that's okay since I don't have vista.)

Re: Conversion Pack 2.0 release thread
Ok, if you can search your Windows registry for Battlefront and find the location of its ExePath that would be excellent. If not, I can still write a new menu.bat that would work, but it wouldn't be as good.
1) However if you want to fix it yourself (which is quicker), open up menu.bat in a text editor and go down 20 lines to: SET swbf2=%swbf2:BattlefrontII.exe=%
2) Change that line to set swbf2 equal to where you have your game's GameData folder. As an example (note the ending slash): SET swbf2=c:\my games\BattlefrontII\GameData\
3) Now save your changes and run menu.bat again. This will fix the problem for everyone who's menu.bat can't auto-detect where SWBF2 is installed.

Re: Conversion Pack 2.0 release thread
Well your help semi worked. I have the new skins and modes for the game, but it tells me there's something wrong with the settings folder and I can't seem to remove the hud. But at least there's progress.

Re: Conversion Pack 2.0 release thread
Haha! So far so good! My error didn't seem to change anything at all. It'd just that loading the game took longer. A LOT longer.
EDIT: Whoah, that's weird. It has the new moeds and all, but the size didn't change, and the KotOR era isn't showing up.

Re: Conversion Pack 2.0 release thread
Just wanted everyone to know I installed it on two machines, following the instructions in the installer EXACTLY and had no issues.
I know we're all excited, but slow down and read the instructions.

Re: Conversion Pack 2.0 release thread
I absolutly hate the error I'm getting prohibiting me from installing BF2 because now I don't get to play this mod for probably a week. Anyways, good work Mav and the rest of the team!

Re: Conversion Pack 2.0 release thread
Huh, I didn't even read the instructions and I installed it and had no problems whatsoever. Great Mod!
@ Fluffy That's the Unofficial 1.3 Patch that's giving you the installation problems, did you move any folders or files around? Your SWBF2 files/folders are different than that of the Unofficial 1.3 Patch. Did you try reinstalling the game and updating it to the Official 1.1 Patch and than install the SWBF CP?

Re: Conversion Pack 2.0 release thread
My game was already 1.1, and I just reinstalled, with the wipe. As usual, I backed up the profiles, menu screen, and addon folder.

Re: Conversion Pack 2.0 release thread
There are no crashing bugs per se in this version. From time to time, a map may crash (but it will not consistently crash). If you encounter this issue, lower your graphical settings and try to restart the map.delta 47 wrote:I got a crash on Rattatak KotOR era wasn't all the bugs fixed in this version?
