JAWS, A Song By My Band
So yeah, my recently-formed band has performed at my school on numerous occasions, and we finally got a CD of one of those performances. That being said, here is a link to the first song we wrote: JAWS. It's an acronym for Jack and William and Stephen, the members of our band. I know it's not an exact match to the acronym, but whatever, it works and it fits the song.

We're still looking for a name for our band; I'm open to suggestions.
And yes, I noticed that if I had matched the acronym exactly, it would've spelled "JAWAS"; which has been considered for our band name. There's about a 1% chance we'll actually call ourselves that.
Anyway, in the song, I'm playing alto saxophone, Stephen is playing drums, and Jack is playing bass guitar. Enjoy.

That was awesome, I'm always amazed how people can write songs like that.

Wow! Awesomeness with a dash of amazing.... Good job on the sax! The drums were simple yet powerful.

Your transition from slow to fast ought to just let the drums take a break and come back in once the sax establishes the new tempo. It feels forced now.
And you personally on sax need to work on phrase endings, they just die off. Put a little more air through the horn and let the tone fade. Or, if abrupt endings are what you're shooting for, make it evident and end with a staccato, tongued note.
You did a good job of making a small instrumentation work, though. I'd be interested in hearing what other tracks of yours sound like.

Thanks Mav', I appreciate the advice
We finally came up with a name: Gryka.
I made us a logo as well, just so we had one. It's not much.

That's sounds awesome man! Gryka sounds cool and that's a pretty neat banner too (I have no skill in banner making whatsoever )

Thanks. My friend Jack (the bassist) was the one who came up with the name.
