I play tin whistle/flute, and I'm interested in a lot of Irish music.
And somewhere along the line, we got an idea to form a band over the internet. There's a few options, one is to just record the parts separately and mix them together. Or we could use a high speed voice servers like those at Skype or Ventrolio to play live! Lase and I were going over this and decided to post a topic about it. I think it's an intriguing possibility, whether it works is yet to be seen Probably all those implications would make it impractical, but you never know.
