Maybe?
So I'm new to the forum (came becasue of conversion pack) and I was looking through the posts and there were a few things that were confusing to me. So to help me and maybe others could you guys give some clarification? First, I saw lots of references to a 1.1 version. However I have only seen a 1.0. Links? AlsoI have seen some solid Kotor content, but only reference to the New Jedi Order/Legacy Of The Force Times. Speaking of the Kotor Era, is it just content from the games or is there also content from the Ullic Quel Droma/Exar Kun times? Finally Lots of People have asked about canon content. Would it be possible to make a patch or some later version for the people who want canon? Myself I would apreciate this alot.

1.0/1.1 references the version of the game itself. You need to have the game patched to version 1.1 for the Conversion Pack to be supported. That being said, it will work with version 1.0 of the game, but if there's a bug that exists in 1.0 and not in 1.1 I'm not fixing it.
The KotOR era is the only new era that will be in future versions. Next to the Clone Wars and Galactic Civil War it's by far the most popular era. The KotOR era will play exactly like the other eras, but with new units. No new KotOR-specific planets or anything. It'll be game-specific units, no comic or novel based characters. As far as the other eras they really aren't very popular -- at least not popular enough for anyone to make lots of quality units for, so they won't be a part of the pack.
I'm not really interested in canon content. I'm much more interested in gameplay. I will say that if gameplay and canon work together then great, but otherwise it's not going to be covered in this mod.

Well, isn't Concord Dawn a Vong Map? Also could you or someone else provide a link to the 1.1 version? By the way the megaupload.ru site or whatever doen't work for me. Or is it just that I cant figure out how to do it because I don't speak russian. Instructions? Oh, and a few more questions, does the 1.1 version require the 1.0 version? Can the Phoenix and the latest version run on hte same system through enable/disable? As for Canon, its not like you would be doing it. If I can ever find a good amount of spare time I would be happy to make a Canon patch if people want it.

Try that, but do it quickly before they "shut down".

Yes, you need the 1.0 version of the game to install the 1.1 version of the game. If you bought the game brand new recently then it should already be patched with version 1.1. For those who downloaded the game illegally, the 1.1 patch of the game will not work.Mandalorian wrote:Oh, and a few more questions, does the 1.1 version require the 1.0 version? Now, on to the SWBF Conversion Pack itself. The most recent stable version is 1.9. This is what we recommend to install for people who don't want to beta test newer versions. If you do want to beta test newer versions, you will still need version 1.9 of the Conversion Pack, then you will need to patch the 1.8.4 Phoenix beta.
I don't know about Concord Dawn being a Vong map. All I know is that it was created for SWBF1 and by one of our members as a Galactic Civil War only map, so we converted it to SWBF2 with his permission.

OK. Thanks for version 1.1 Fingerfood. So I Guess I will have versions 1.1, 1.9, and Pheonix 1.8.4 becasue I will want to be beta testing. Also thanks for the clarifying that 1.0 and 1.1 are versions of SWBF2, not the conversion pack. One more thing, is there any enable/disable features that I should know for the Pheonix Mod.
