RE: hmm
I haven't done much with Classic in a week or so, BUT I can tell you I'll be working on a 'tech demo' that ya'll can play. It's probably going to be Jabba's Palace for now, since that's where I've done all my testing in.
Other updates:
*Sprinting is mostly gone. That is you get one sprint and that's it. I tried all I know to remove it (even set the energy bar to zero), but no luck. So you'll get one sprint and then nothing.
*Heroes will not be present in 1.8.0. Archer01's script works, but you can still earn the hero after getting so many points. So for now they'll be disabled.
*All units are in and working perfectly. The droideka is the only one slightly different. I just used the SWBF2 settings and gave him an unlock of 0 points. I was having lots of trouble getting him to work otherwise
*All icons are working well too. There are also unique icons for the Concussion Grenades and EMP Grenades. They look like the thermal detonator but have a yellow and blue light, respectively.
****Also, howe serious are you about getting levels exactly like SWBF1? Hoth is pretty different with the extra hallways in the hangar and missing hallways by the shield generator, and Jabba's Palace has a CP that got moved. Opinions? (We're talking about 50mb added to the install size, 10mb added to download size)

Personally, I wouldn't mind an extra 10 MB or so for the Hoth tunnels to be like they were in BF1. Though I'm fine with the BFII ones if not. The Jabba's Palace CP isn't really all that important in my opinion, as it's just one room off. But I do miss sneaking through that tunnel next to the shield generator on Hoth as a Scout Trooper and calling down my orbital strikes on the generator.
RE: hmm
Have you tried using "EnableSPScriptedHeroes()" instead of "EnableSPHeroRules()"? When scripted heroes are enabled, it ignores the hero rules and waits for the lua script to unlock the hero. Just like in the campaign.

???? You mean the BF1 like heroes. Right? Not the unlockable heroes you can play as... right?!Teancum wrote: *Heroes will not be present in 1.8.0.

I'd like to see BF1 Hoth if possible. It is different and does change the gameplay. I think it would also be good to move the CP in Jabba's palace, but if space is tight, then don't bother. The only other ones I can think of right now are Endor (theres a CP by the shield generator) and Mos Eisley (there's an extra passageway into the hangar). I don't think either of them really need to be changed since gameplay isn't affected too much by them.

I remember that too Schizo, but everytime I got in one (on multiplayer) The guys there kept bugging me to get out, because it was a "glitch" supposedly.Schizo wrote:Actually, now that I think about it... wasn't there an AT-ST spawn on the landing bay CP in Mos Eisley in BF1? When the Imps captured the CP. Appearently they got rid of it in BFII. Not really main priority, but it could be cool to have.
