RE: Classic Conquest
KNOWN BUGS:
*Jedi aren't very agressive (but then again, they weren't in SWBF1 either)
*Infantry can sprint one time (tried to fix)
*No prone (and there won't be, unfortunately)
*Walking backwards is messed up
------Non-Classic related------
*Kit Fisto's tentacles aren't done, so they don't move
*There's a bit of clipping sometimes with shadows on Alderaan
Be sure to try to figure out Luminara's secret moves **HINT: try pushing your force button during an attack.

are you going to use the BF2 rebel-sniper model for classic conquest too? not so positive about that. They look very different and the BF1 looks a lot less "anorectic-style" than the BF2-one...
great that it happens something with classic conquest now! one of the most interesting things with this converison pack...
wonder why I have'nt tried it so much yet

Yeah, personally, I like the BF1 Rebel sniper a lot better. The BFII one just looks wierd. But that's just my opinion. I'd be happy even with the BFII one.
One question though. Do you think maybe it'd be possible to implement the voiceovers from BF1 as well? Might be too much to hope for, but I hate the new Republic announcer guy. The one from BF1 was much better. Plus you'd have lines like "They've captured the Carbon Freezing Chamber", which isn't in BFII. Just wishful thinking though. Probably too much to ask for. That and the green CPs.

>>Schizo
Using voiceover of BF1 might be a legal problem though it might be not impossible, if the users don't copy own BF1's sound data to Pack's folder....
And I like Green CP, too. But Green vs Red make me recall nVIDIA vs ATi.
I became feelings to which their proxy wars are done....

luke
i don't really like the saber combos for the heroes it doesn't feel like bf1. also can the heroes have Luke's first part of his saber combo like in bf1 all the heroes did that same swing as Luke. and make it so it can kill in one hit. I'm sry if this is too much. I just want it to feel exactly like bf1
RE: luke
That's actually not a bad idea, darthgunray. Though I'm not sure Tean wants to go to the trouble.
That actually makes me think. Tean, you are just including the same heroes from BF1, right? Mace, Dooku, Luke, and Vader? I don't think any other heroes from BFII should be included. They wouldn't really fit in very well.

RE: luke
Heroes are still being thought out. I haven't decided on how to do them exactly. Here's where I'm at tho:
*Heroes will most definitely keep the SWBF2 combos. I was extremely bored with the one swing they used to have.
*The will not have any force, other than sprint (possibly) and jump (definitely).
*The will most likely be Luke, Vader, Dooku and Mace only -- not 100% convinced on this.
*They'll most likely be each on their own side, allied with their respective teams. I currently have em' on teams 3 and 4, but two show up, even if you set it to one. I might try the AI heroes code someone (Archer?) posted. If that works, I can definitely figure out a way to keep it only one hero per team and make sure they don't die.
****EDIT****
Looks like Archer's code is just what I need. I need to modify it just a bit to make it work like I need it, but we're set now.

Will you be able to turn off the hero thing with the hero setting off thing in swbf2?

Updates:
*All four factions now work really well. Expect to see a test map by the end of the week
*All icons are there for their weapons. Just a few last little localization changes to do
*I'm thinking about putting Classic Conquest on EVERY map. Your thoughts?
*Hero info below...
Heroes:
*Heroes will be Luke, Vader, Mace and Dooku for the old maps. At most there will be 1-2 more heroes per faction for any other maps, all jedi and sith. Not promising anything on SWBF1 style heroes aside from the main four
*The heroes will use the SWBF2 models. There's capes and cloth, and frankly Luke's model is much better
*Heroes WON'T have force powers, the will not sprint either.
*Heroes WILL keep their combos, and will be able to jump like in SWBF2
*Heroes health will regenerate like in SWBF1, making them invincible
****IF I put in more heroes per faction, it'll probably be the following:
REP -- Yoda, Shaak Ti
CIS -- Darth Maul, Asajj Ventress
ALL -- Mara Jade, Kyle Katarn
IMP -- Emperor (he'll only have force lightning to make him more like RotJ), Jerec
