Your CPU is alright, but whats your graphics card? I can check this with Start/Run/dxdiag.exe or by using the program "Everest".

Strange...i have a 5200 Nvidia Geforce PCI and Battlefield 2 runs smoothly online and off. Well except at certain places in maps. I can't remember what my settings are in-game but i have my screen at 1024 by 768 or something like that.

stealth, for future reference, when a game is running slow, you turn the video options down, not up.

Yea but it has been know that a 5200 gets better performance is specific games, and I think the 5200 passes an 5500 in benchmarks.

Off-topic : Yes, that's indeed right, and I have even been able to check out whether this Statement could be trusted or not thanks to one of the Personal Computers I am in charge of, which has let me guess that nVidia® had launched the engineering and producing of a brand-new Graphics Processing Unit being in fact based on a GeForce® FX 5200 one, and amazingly, the Final Outcome was sort of Dedicated Processor having been deprived from most of its previous Capacities and nevertheless obtained the "GeForce® FX 5500" Denomination, which may explain why the Effective Power required by Video Cards exploiting such a Core is way far from being as much high as the one associated to any other GeForce® FX Product...

Off-topic : Asking such a question might not have any Interest and possible Answers if we had not obtained additional Informations and Details regarding the Technical Specifications associated to your current Personal Computer, and that's why I hope you will not mind giving me the exact References of the Power Supply Unit embedded into it - And especially the Nominal Power this Component is able to provide to others contained inside your Case -, additionally to a Rough Estimate of the Amount of money you would be ready to dedicate for such a Purchase...

The very last GFX card from nVidia is the Geforce 7950 GX2 1024MB that has 2 cores, so when in SLI you have a QUAD-CORE system!!! The previous model was the 7900 GTX 512MB and a model thats very good but with a reasonable pricetag is the 7900GT 256MB or the 512MB

Off-topic : That's indeed right, MasterSkywalker, but contrary to what most of the persons having learnt about the existence and upcoming release of Graphics Cards based on the nVidia® GeForce 7950 GX2 Visual Processing Unit might have imagined, the concerned Products are way far from being as much Productive and Appreciable than those running on Quadro FX Internal Processors, and that's why I would highly recommend ordering such Components to persons willing to obtain Disproportionate Performances into specific Domains, while having previously made sure to gather enough Financial Resources to get their hands down on the willed Designs...
