I personally think that
Traveller's Tales has made a
great and
impressive work on
LEGO Star Wars, and I will not hesitate to buy its sequel once it will be released by
Eidos Interactive...
Moreover, as opposed to what one thinks, such video-games count what we might call "
modding communities", like the one located on
FBTB forums...
PS : A similar topic has
already been created in the past, and can be easily consulted at
this address...

Btw Lev's link sends u to a now locked Lego Star Wars II Topic plz post here now.
(Back on Topic): I dont think Leia is even cute in the movies let alone the Lego games. This game is probably worth buying when it comes out. I hope they make this game longer than Lego Star Wars I.

moncal', we cannot say that LEGO Star Wars : The Video Game was really that easy to end up, since a large part of its original levels and features have been cut-off during the last stages of this Traveller's Tales video-game's development, as many other Star Wars-based ones, which means it owned a real potential and might have stimulated a little more its owners' interest if it had been properly finalized, and not "rushed"...

Like another SW game you might have heard about...
I thought that LEGO Star Wras was was cool, at least for an hour. Then the almost identical characters got old. >_>
LEGO Star Wars 2 sounds really good.

yeah it does! I'll be sure to get the sequel! The cool thing about the first one is that it turns some of the most violent moments in Star Wars into something funny. And the fact there is no "uh oh I only have two lives left!", you keep losing studs until you win.

Yeah. There is no way to lose in the first one. It doesnt seem as much fun that way. I hope they change that in the second one.

No, I do not think so, moncal'... Indeed, do not forget that Traveller's Tales originally addressed LEGO Star Wars : The Video Game to young players, which means removing the inability to die in this Eidos Interactive-published video-games's sequel would become really frustrating and irritating for them... In that case, I guess it is useless to precise that such reactions would not support the sale of LEGO Star Wars II : The Original Trilogy...

I concur. The first one was still pretty cool, but I was dissappointed when the episode four path turned out to be just one level, I was hoping it would be the entire episode. Plus the reason the game was so easy is because, literally, the game was marketed toward little kids. Somebody said it was also marketed toward couples, but I think I wasn't wearing my glasses when I read that! lol

Finally, maybe you had read this "Statement" properly, even though you weren't "wearing your glasses" ? Indeed, we mustn't forget that LEGO Star Wars : The Video Game can be actually played by two different users simultaneously and is really "congenial", which could explain why it may have been "marketed toward couples", as you said...

One feature they should change is the co-op. sharing a keyboard can be really frusturating! Maybe a Lan feature as well. But yeah, it wasn't really that challenging, except for stud collecting and minikit collecting

Off-topic : As you seem to own a list of interesting and
valuable stuffs which should be added to
LEGO Star Wars II : The Original Trilogy, I would suggest submitting them to
Traveller's Tales,
Lead_Pilot, in order to enhance your chances to make them appear in this
Eidos Interactive-published video-game...
