Alright guys I just want to know what you think about this guys work

aperently some guy named Etienne Beschet is making a fan made starwars game based on The Clone Wars TV show and its called

STAR WARS: REDEMPTION
I mean this looks crazy, right !

So of course while I normally would be super pumped for something like this we cant forget what happens to frontwires "galaxy in turmoil" and on top of this its seems as if only one person is working on this game so it
could just kinda die out or undergo slow development like battlecry did...

Etienne has stated he dosent know what platform his game will come out on.
My suggestion is that this guy stresses to everyone that this game is a " MOD " for another game - of course the game that he would chose to mod his work into would have to be changeable enough for it
to be fun and for it to be "starwars".

So what do you guys think will happen ?
will Disney and EA stop this one into the ground ?
Should this game come out as a mod - and if so what game ?

They will, because they're legally obligated to. If they don't, the contract between them will be broken.

Nothing will happen because at that level of detail it's not possible to put out an actual product with just one person. The most talented person in the world can't handle a project that huge with that amount of detail. It's the same reason mods are so much more prevalent for pre-2010 games: modders can handle the workload.

hmmmm what if he formed a team ?

If he gets a team of 20 or more you can worry. It takes teams of 50+ professionals years to build a game like this guy wants. It won't happen.
