I didnt see a topic about this, so i am just gong to create it.

Basically, Black Ops is going to be revealed tonight. The video is already out there, but it is not going to be public yet.

I am not really going to buy this game since i didnt like the first one. But i will surely update this post with any new information as soon there is any.

It is ovbiously comming back. Information has being revealed already.
Apparently, it will be able to support 8 players in a single match, but this is just a rumor, further confirmation is still pending.

Terminator of Duty: Modern Black OpsDST

I agree with Labj. I saw the trailer, and was very "meh" about it. If it's fun to play, then the unoriginality won't be so bad. If it's not fun, well then it's ripoff of Terminator, Halo, and Modern Warfare is just adding insult to injury.

The only good thing about that trailer was the music, and that wasn't even original. It sounded like an odd mix of Mass Effect and Battlefield music to me, but it turned out okay. Nothing else surprised me in terms of quality, however.

It seems like they're trying to give Ghost Recon competition now with the 2025 setting. The trailer was exciting and I'm not a big fan of CoD.

Got into a huge argument on Facebook because I thought this looked like ODST. His view was that ALL futuristic shooters look the same: Metroid, Crysis, Halo, even Star Wars, because of power armor and helmets. Mine was that this one alone just looked like a ripoff ODST and Ghost Recon Future Soldier.

There's a big difference from having futuristic power armor, and having armor that is nearly identical to Halo ODST. Mass Effect has sci-fi armor, and it looks nothing like stormtrooper or Halo ODST armor.

So yeah, the guy you're arguing with on Facebook is a penguin and doesn't know what he's talking about.

Looks like Activision has given us some hints as to the new plot and some features of the game.

So basically, the game will have one RPG element: your actions tweek the story.
Maybe there could be several endings.

As long as zombies is coming back it should be fun.

Maybe, I will play Black Ops II. I didn't buy Modern Warfare 3, but I played it, I don't like it.

Has anyone noticed a drop in original FPSs and a surge of CoD, or I'm I imagining things?

I bought MW3 and I think I started the campaign. I can't remember.
I highly doubt I will be getting this game.

How about something original? Or at the very least, some updated graphics.

I can't find a real confirmation, but I've read that it's an updated MW3 engine.

But more or less it's still the same engine from CoD4.

I'm probobly going to buy this game for the same reason as why I bought WaW and Black Ops, zombies. I've never really enjoyed the multiplayer from WaW or Black Ops. Not sure why, but zombies is the best part of those games.
