Re: EA and Disney in a multi-year agreement for Star Wars ga
Yes, I actually played BF3 for a while, and despite some scenes in the campain I found nothing that reminds me SWBF gameplay.
You don't seem to get that my "16 dumb players" are supposed resemble BF3 Multiplayer.
I know that bots are nothing compared to a player, I see them as means to create a lively atmosphere, not as a challenge. And I didn't even compare bots to players in my post, so I don't know where the discussion about that came from.
BF3 Multiplayer felt empty, while SWBF2, Singleplayer and Multiplayer, especially if the game is modded, can be mindblowing chaos. That is my whole point why I like SWBF2 more than BF3 and why I don't want SWBF3 to be like it.

The reasons why I dislike BF3 (and CODMW3) is not for the reasons you stated, Bob. It's how the game feels and plays. While I hold nothing against BF3 as it isn't a bad game at all, it isn't for me. I hope SWBF3 isn't like BF3, but not because I prefer bots over players. It's the flow and speed of the game that matters to me.

Very Exciting news. New registered domian names for star wars.
- Star Wars Alliance
- Star Wars Rebels
- Star Wars Wolf Pack
- Wolf Pack Adventures
- Order 67
- Bothan Spies
- Gungan Frontier 2
- Gungan Frontier 3
- Gungan Frontier 4
- Wookie Hunters
Well I don't have the slightest idea what these can be. Bothen spies does intrig me though, perhaps a game where we play as them? Or just a something to through people off?

That is what im talking about. For thoses days when you just want to chill and enjoy a feature that made battlefront 2 a fun game. But with smarter AI if they are making a BF3.

Yes. Especially "Wookie Hunters". I'll love a game where you play as a Trandoshan, hunting Wookies on Kashyyyk.TWINKEYRUNAWAY wrote: - Star Wars Alliance

Re: EA and Disney in a multi-year agreement for Star Wars ga
I have absolute NOTHING to say against BF3 Multiplayer.
But singleplayer is bad because those characters there are no characters. An character is something you remind if you stop playing the game. I like Call of Duty MW 1, 2 & 3 Singleplayer because Captain Price, Soap and all the others, are actually characters for me. It has a story and it the graphic is good.
My problem with swbf is that the games are bad if you dont love the films. You have to know the characters from Battlefront to have fun while playing. I think theres no one whos enyoing Battlefront and hating the films

....what? i played battlefront before i saw the movies and i loved it. one of the best things about the game was that almost anyone can play it have a good time, especially if they have seen the movies and know the characters. (Even in 2013, 8 years after it came out)noMatt wrote:I have absolute NOTHING to say against BF3 Multiplayer.

Are you talking about Battlefront? If so that's quite possibly the dumbest thing I've heard said about it. You do realize how old this game is, right?

You do know that there is only about 15 people in the world who don't know all of the star wars characters in Battlefront, right?noMatt wrote:My problem with swbf is that the games are bad if you dont love the films. You have to know the characters from Battlefront to have fun while playing.

Which is why a new entry to the series is vital, I think, and why LA ditched Pandemic after SWBF2 in the first place.
Whereas Battlefield has always predominantly been a multiplayer game, SWBF has had its roots in SP as much as MP, regardless how stupid and predictable the AI is. I'd be shocked if some sort of SP Instant Action mode wasn't available in any potential SWBF3, alongside the campaign.

Lol. CS:S doesn't have very large maps, nor does it try to deal with large groups of AI. It's graphics are only marginally better than Battlefront's.
If you want to compare its graphics to something else, try Half Life 2. But that's hardly fair since HL2 was groundbreaking at the time. Nothing compared to it at the time.

In regards to the possible Gungan Frontier Sequels
I honestly don't think that most, if any, of those games would be made. Companies register domain names for all sorts of things all the time in order to protect possible future interests. I am glad that someone is developing Star Wars games again, since Disney seems to have been all about mobile and social games since they acquired Star Wars.

None of these titles sounds like a 'core' Star Wars game, so I'm not sure why everyone thinks that EA will develop those. It seems more likely that Disney will (or not because they're only domains) use those labels for Facebook games or whatever they're planning.

Re: EA and Disney in a multi-year agreement for Star Wars ga
Obviously they picked names to through people off. I highly doubt gungan frontier 2, 3 and 4 is disneys way to give us what we want(I just like poking fun at the idea though). I think this gives us an idea of how many projects are being made though, its possible relating names like wolfpack and wolfpack adventures are code names for a game in progress and a possible DLC add on for more lelves or something. With this media from machinima, gaming websites, ign and even youtube channels, they know we very well we want battlefront III or at last something that is a spiritual successor. The only advice I would give them is not to rush it, battlefront 2 was rushed and it was still a fun game, but you can tell there was things that needed more time on. I would be willing to wait 2-3 years to get something that truly is a master piece, something that passionate game devopers took thier time on and something fans will appreicate. Im saving up right now, around 60-70 dollars and im going to put it into a box labeled "SWBFIII or something close to it". When that day comes where that fantastic product is announced, my money will be waiting for it.
